This doesn't belong here, but in the GB Strategies and Movesets. I will wisk it away for you and the nice people there can assist you.

MOVED

Ham November 18th, 2005 6:33 PM

so far, it looks rather shitty. too many normal pokemon, hufe fighting weak, nothing can really take hits, and your fastest pokemon isn't fast enough.

Pyrotechnix November 18th, 2005 8:48 PM

Major CB Pogey weak, and never start the three beginning starters on the same team, imo.

Ham November 19th, 2005 5:25 AM

Pyro has a point, they are pretty much the incarnations of average.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 19th, 2005 7:59 AM

im teaching my soon to be granbull all fighting moves, stanler all pschic move and miltank normal moves and milk drink...

jc_rcw November 19th, 2005 8:09 AM

Don't ever use two moves of the same type in one pokemon, except on SOME normal types.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 19th, 2005 8:24 AM

wow thanks for telling me that my stratagies may change from now on...

I was going to say that. Medicham rapes this team.:\

Ham November 19th, 2005 10:36 AM

choice banding fighting types are also an exception, with Brick Break and Focus Punch.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 19th, 2005 10:53 AM

i was going to use focus band but that works too.

Ham November 19th, 2005 10:56 AM

don't use luck reliant items. instead of using skill to win, you hope for a random chance.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 19th, 2005 1:51 PM

good idea im very unlucky... i cant even find a shiny...

jc_rcw November 19th, 2005 1:56 PM

Well using HAX (luck) its very criticized by good players since it doesn't show any kind of skill because you are plainly depending on luck.

Nice new sig Ham. Anyways back on topic, check out the link to PYro's school in my sig

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 20th, 2005 6:47 AM

i not a rookie trainer, my main problem is that my movesets are off and types, but 30% off my pokemon are lv100 and that tell you something...

jc_rcw November 20th, 2005 8:21 AM

But moves are the important thing about pokemons :\ , also ev's and other stuff.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 20th, 2005 10:35 AM

well now the i got all six of them to 60+ so i my teams coming along great!

Pyrotechnix November 20th, 2005 11:37 AM

Levels are nothing in true competitive battling, both online and off. Once you get each of your Pokemon on your team to level 60+, you've basically beaten all the AI in any of the GB games that needs to be beaten. It doesn't take skill to beat the computers, it takes skill to beat other people, and that is why movesets and EVs are especially important. The term "Rookie Trainer" is incorrect, the term should be for "people looking to get better at Pokemon" in Umby's sig. I've been working on a lot of different stuff, and am always open to creating new guides for things, so if you need some help, just let me know.

Use the format I used on your Venasaur, It makes everything else less confusing
And, again we dont care about the levels!!!

haunter_northwind November 25th, 2005 1:47 AM

I raise an Alakazam which has a rash nature. And I combine it (lv. 61) with Swampert (lv.62) to battle against Elite Four + Wallace at Pokemon League in Evergrande City. I think I will failed, but I wrong. I can beat them without any revive. I only use some Hyper Potion. I only order my Alakazam to use a Calm Mind, and Psybeam. Then, all pokemon (except which has the dark attribute) are knocked out. For beating Wallace, I order my Alakazam to use Calm Mind two time, and Psychic.

work on your grammar man and the AI in pokemon games are dead, non-exsistant, you could beat it with my momma on a stick. Its competitve battling that is actually tougher....>_>

Pyrotechnix November 25th, 2005 9:33 AM

I take my Medicham and sweep the E4 using nothing but HJK and Shadow Ball. GG.

Gaaradon Of The Dessert November 26th, 2005 10:17 AM

let get back on topic, my granbull, and venasaur come in handy, i want a celebi, how do i activate the celebi glitch on sapphire?

Synchronize November 26th, 2005 10:47 AM

Action Replay device. Just don't cheat. I find it more satisfying not to cheat.
