Begin Turn #6
Twinkies [Fun] withdrew Starmie!
Twinkies [Fun] sent out Metagross (Lv.100 Metagross)!
---------------------------------
Porygon2 used Thunderbolt!
(90 damage)
---------------------------------
Metagross's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
Porygon2's Leftovers restored its HP a little!
End of turn #6

[Shadow] Benny 982's Porygon2: 88% HP

Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Hidden Power [Flying]
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance
-Rock Slide / Fire Blast

Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 76 HP / 52 Def / 212 Atk / 136 Spd / 32 SDef
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
-Earhthquake
-Rock Slide
-Screech
-Toxic / Quick Attack / Fire Blast / Hidden Power [Bug/Flying]

Altaria (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 52 HP / 40 Def / 232 SAtk / 84 Spd / 100 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
-Perish Song
-Dragon Claw
-Pursuit
-Agility / Haze / Protect / Flamethrower / Toxic

I've never seen a standard Altaria set or EV spread before, so excuse me if this sucks. I think it's kinda cool though. PerishPursuiting lol.

Kingdra (M) @ Leftovers / Petaya Berry / Lum Berry / Chesto Berry
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 52 HP / 40 Def / 140 Spd / 200 SAtk / 76 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
-Surf / Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam
-Hidden Power [Electric/Grass] / Rest / Toxic
-Rain Dance

Custom EVs. Most likely needs more spd.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 244 HP / 224 SAtk / 40 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Thunderbolt / Flamethrower
-Ice Beam / Dragon Claw

Thunderbolt with Ice Beam and Flamethrower with Dragon Claw only.

Now, give me a 6th pokemon that is somewhat Dragon-like, and we can finish up here.
*Wonders how many users are laughing at his EV spreads.

Pax Deorum December 20th, 2005 3:21 PM

Kingdra doesn't need any Speed on the Rain Dance set, it already outspeeds everything except Ninjask after a RD with no Speed EVs.

Mullet December 20th, 2005 5:46 PM

Umby, Tar is sort of Dragon-like. He can learn DD, lol.:P

IT'd be more helpful to post in the "Request a Team" Thread in the Movesets and Strategies forum, but I'll make one anyway, cuz Im cool like that :) You'll have to pardon the EVs though:

Mawile (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 64 HP / 80 Atk / 252 Def /112 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Taunt
- Baton Pass
- Iron Defense / Hidden Power [Steel/Rock/Flying/Bug]

Umbreon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 212 HP / 240 Def / 56 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Taunt
- Wish

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sandstream
EVs: 240 HP / 92 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Rock Slide
- Taunt
- Earthquake

lol, 3 taunts. Phazers will die.

Alakazam (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 212 HP / 232 Spd / 64 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Knock Off
- Recover
- Psychic
- Calm Mind / Fire Punch / Ice Punch / Thunderpunch

This set only goes with Sandstream, mind you. Knock Off + Sandstream lols @ Leftovers. You can also use Sableye in this spot if you want.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 144 HP / 100 Atk / 88 Def / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball

You'll most likely want sludge bomb.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 120 Def / 24 Spd /120 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
-Perish Song
-Heal Bell
-Leech Seed
-Recover

Perish Song + Umbreon = pwnt.
Heal Bell + Umbreon/Alakazam(Synchronize abuse) = pwnt
Leech Seed + TYranitar(SAndstream = pwnt)

Has problems with Heracross, being the team it is. But other than that, passing from Umbreon to TTar or Celebi will kick *** half the time. Hope this helps.

What do you think?

Mullet December 23rd, 2005 8:47 AM

Here you go Rioku.

Dugtrio (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

Celebi @ Leftovers ** Celery Stalk
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 120 Def / 148 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Recover

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers ** BOAH BOAH BOAH
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 44 HP / 240 Atk / 176 Spd / 48 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Taunt

Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers ** Fat is Fun
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 160 HP / 96 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Rest
- Return
- Shadow Ball

Magneton @ Leftovers ** Magnet
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 36 HP / 32 Def / 188 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Metal Sound
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Raikou @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Spd / 212 SAtk / 28 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

I put this together pretty quickly, but it should still work. Hope this helps you win a lot. Happy battling.

Just watch out you have two Pokes with Fightning weakness. You might want to try this over T-tar or Lax:

Weezing (M) @ Leftovers ** *Cough*
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP / 84 Atk / 224 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Haze
- Pain Split
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp/Fire Blast

Watch out if using WoW, they might switch a CB Hera in to take it then it's basicly gg.

You'll have to explain a LITTLE bit better as there are PHYSICAL tanks/sponges and SPECIAL tanks/sponges. Maybe consider asking for a team to be built around a specific pokemon?

Eirikr December 27th, 2005 7:01 PM

Umbreon, I like him, a team around Umbreon?

Silon December 27th, 2005 11:54 PM

Here's a challenge I guess..

Make me a team based around Espeon & Absol, preferrable Fire & Water.
Please keep Esp. & Absol in there :)

I'll see what I can do:

Absol (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 68 HP / 100 Def / 240 Spd / 100 SDef
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Swords Dance
- Taunt
- Hidden Power [Flying]

Espeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 132 HP / 232 Spd / 24 SAtk / 112 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Substitute / Morning Sun / Wish

Regice @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 204 HP / 200 Def / 36 SAtk / 68 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rest
- Psych Up

Charizard (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 200 Atk / 252 Spd / 56 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Swords Dance / Rock Slide

Normally I wouldn't suggest this, but you asked for fire =/.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 68 SAtk / 132 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Surf
- Wish
- Protect
- Ice Beam / Haze / Baton Pass

If you have Espeon for wish you can do some Substitute or Acid Armor passing or something.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide / Counter
- Roar
- Rapid Spin

You'll prolly want counter more, as you have no real physical resistances. If you want, you can trade Donphan for Forretress and give Vaporeon roar.

This is what happens to teams made by good battlers in less than 10 mins: Not great, but not bad either =/.

Rubberbandman December 28th, 2005 12:05 PM

meh, I think Houndoom is better than Charizard, maybe try Blaziken too

[email protected]
Trait:Early Bird
Timid(+Speed,-Attack)
Will-o-Wisp
Hidden Power [Grass]
Crunch/Pursuit
Flamethrower

[email protected]
Trait:Blaze
Lonely(+Attack,-Defense)
Substitute
Focus Punch
Flamethrower
Thunderpunch
pretty good considering I slapped it together, but I suck with EVs ;_; NB on computer= crappier layout than usual

Synchronize December 28th, 2005 12:11 PM

for a houndoom all you need for a set like that is a 4/252/252 format. I wouldnt use Pursuit as a sub for Crunch though, but rather as a move for another slot, as Alakazam likes to have fun with pursuit sometimes. Needs more Flash Fire IMO.

Further more, I would suggest against using Blaziken, as Base 80 Spd on a Fire Type isn't gonna help a team like this at all.

Mullet December 29th, 2005 7:25 AM

Other options in bold.

Counter over I-Beam.

Charizard (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 200 Atk / 252 Spd / 56 SAtk
Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Swords Dance / Rock Slide

It needs SD/DD, but since this is NB lets give it DD. I like the 252/252/4 spread.

Normally I wouldn't suggest this, but you asked for fire =/.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 68 SAtk / 132 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Surf / Ice Beam
- Wish
- Sub
- Baton Pass

Ice Beam is an option over Surf just so Water Absorbers don't mess you up. Sub because with Max HP you get 101 Subs, and Baton Pass to pass though sexy Subs, or Wishes.

If you have Espeon for wish you can do some Substitute or Acid Armor passing or something.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide / Counter
- Roar
- Rapid Spin

Just keep this. If you use Counter Regice, then keep RS on this thing.

You'll prolly want counter more, as you have no real physical resistances. If you want, you can trade Donphan for Forretress and give Vaporeon roar.

I've suffered horribly at the hands of Jirachi, so I know putting it over Psych Up isn't a good thing, unless you've got support for it. But I think counter is decent at best. I think my Regice survived your Metagross's MM, which could've been cool if Countered'd

Squarewalker December 30th, 2005 6:43 AM

yeah, but most Metagrosses are holding a Choice Band, and with that attack boost they can OHKO Regice. Things like Salamence, Gyarados, ground types not named Swampert, etc. won't stay in against it anyway, so Counter isn't its best option. Psych Up is alot more useful.

You only chose 6 OU Pokemon, so I'll just use those.

Sceptile (F) @ Petaya Berry
Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Hidden Power [Flying]

Seems to be a pretty unbalenced team to me. I didn't want to mix the metagames, so I chose the only 6 OU Pokes out of the list and threw together this team.

Charizard_Master56 December 31st, 2005 12:52 PM

camerupt
metagross
manectric
sceptile
kyogre or walrein or milotic (I dont know which one is better, pick one, based on apperance and how good in battle)
salamence

and give me the best movesets and items to give to them, thanks

Doesn't matter, you can still do EVs in-game.

You have to have the right IVs to get certian types of IVs.

I did all that work and your not going to use it.

Don't double post.

EVs= points put into either HP,Atk,Def,Spd,SpAtk,or SpDef.You have 510 EV's in all per pokemon but can only get a maximum of 255 in each stat.4 EVs= 1 point in that stat

DVs=Individual values that are different depending on the pokemon itself. These cannot be changed unless you cheat.this is what determines the power and type of Hidden Power

If you still dont understand, www.smogon.com should have it at their site.

My Turn!

I want a team from Raikou,Sceptile,Metagross(No CBgross),Salamence(DDmence only),Regice, and Donphan/Claydol

Charizard_Master56 December 31st, 2005 4:03 PM

well i want an in game team though

Rubberbandman December 31st, 2005 4:04 PM

Having 255 EVs in one stat is a waste.:\

Rubberbandman December 31st, 2005 4:14 PM

I know that but its still the max

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sandstream
EVs: 240 HP / 92 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Taunt

Skarmory @ Leftovers

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 232 HP / 36 Atk / 184 Def / 56 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake

- Rapid Spin

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 204 HP / 52 Atk / 104 Def / 148 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Body Slam / Return
- Curse

- Shadow Ball / Sleep Talk

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 124 HP / 60 Def / 80 Spd / 240 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

Weezing isn't all that bad, but you should generally have a counter for anything that can counter you, in Weezing's case, you should be able to counter it because it will stop your non Guts+Facade physical sweepers cold.

It's perfect. Thanks. Always wanted a Celebi in my team, just didn't know if it was any good :P . About Weezing, that explains why everyone kept pulling him out on my Heracross...

Synchronize January 7th, 2006 2:18 PM

Heh, You can keep Heracross in if it has Guts. It'll just 2-3HKO Weezing after it's been inflicted with burn. If you want, you can even add a Wishpasser and Cleric to your team so the fun can start all over :). Here's a set you can use vs Weezing:

Heracross (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Guts
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break / Focus Punch
- Facade
- Megahorn
- Rock Slide

the set usually calls for Focus Punch or Sleep Talk over Facade, but with Facade you'll own Weezing with more ease.

Deoxysguy January 14th, 2006 10:50 AM

I need a decent LV. 50 team based on salamece and metagross. I need a bunch of quakers as to exploit salamence's flying type. I got gross. as a quaker but I need an improvement to the rest of my team.

Synchronize January 14th, 2006 11:09 AM

I'll have to assume this is an in-game 2v2 team.

Salamence @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
- Aerial Ace
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide / Fire Blast

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Sludge Bomb / Rock Slide
- Explosion

If it doesn't learn Mash by lvl 50, you might have to use Metal Claw or something =/.

Mr. Mime @ Leftovers
Trait: Soundproof
- Psych Up
- Baton Pass
- Psychic
- Fake Out

You can leadoff with this to go along with Salamence. While Sala DDs, you Fake Out, Copy the stat, then pass it along. You can also use CM over Psychic.

Togetic @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
- Follow Me
- Baton Pass
- Psych Up
- Thunder Wave / Body Slam / Wish

Another one of them Psych Passers. Probably better at protecting Sala for a few DDs, so w/e.

Regice @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rest
- Toxic / Thunder Wave/ Protect

Really cool if you're passing a CM. Also note at this point that lowering any stats on this team after being passed is kinda hard to do. Protect for avoiding EQs.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
- Reflect
- Rest / Protect
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

I was thinking maybe Counter over Ice Beam, which is why Protect was there as an option, then I remembered Reflect. Still might be cool but it's up to you.

Meh.

Suicune @ Leftovers

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Def / 100 SAtk / 68 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Ice Beam
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 120 Atk / 192 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Those are the EVs I like using. Usually you would take the EVs out of Atk and give it 252 Def, so keep that in mind.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 236 HP / 56 Atk / 110 Def / 96 SAtk
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam

- Reflect

Dusclops (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Atk / 200 Def / 28 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

Arcanine
- Fire Blast
- Extremespeed
- Iron Tail / HP Fighting
- Sunny Day

ewwwww....

Venusaur
(See previous posts)

Onix
Request Steelix movesets, then come back.

Umbreon
- Screech
- Mean Look
- Confuse Ray
- Moonlight / Toxic

You lazy ***, you need to start breeding so you can request for better movesets.

Gyarados
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt / Thunder
- Earthquake / Rain Dance
- Ice Beam

omg....

Machamp
- Cross Chop / Focus Punch
- Bulk Up / Focus Punch

With both Raikou and Suicune on the same team, Celejump would actually be useful, but w/e.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 132 Def / 136 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind / Heal Bell
- Leech Seed / Heal Bell
- Psychic

Suicune @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 240 HP / 212 Def / 28 Spd / 28 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

Raikou @ Leftovers

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 120 Atk / 192 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Mullet. I. Really. Honestly. Don't. Care. This spread is actually kinda good though; did like 44% to Celebi no lie.

Snorlax (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 204 HP / 140 Def / 164 SDef

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 232 HP / 56 Atk / 124 Def / 96 SAtk
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
