It's funny how RMTs disrupt team requests.
It's more funny how Raichu doesn't learn Swords Dance.

dreemxweever March 2nd, 2007 7:34 PM

ohh but you are wrong my friend.
completly besides the point, but:
raichu is in the feild egg group'
sandslash is in the feild egg group
one of sandslash's egg moves is swords dance
you can get it from the move tutor on 7 island.
male sandslash w/swords dance+ female raichu=Pichu with swords dance
lv up and evolve with thunder stone
you have a raichu with swords dance...
trust me i did the research

an RMT is?

House of Numbers March 2nd, 2007 7:41 PM

Yes, but in order to get a move out of breeding, the Pokemon must be able to learn that move, which Raichu is not.

serebii.net/pokedex-rs/026.shtml

A complete list of every move Raichu can learn is on that page. Swords Dance is not one of them my friend.

RMT = Rate My Team

but yeah.. that really helps, one question, what does sleeptalk do anyway?
any ideas for hold items?

It randomly will use a move while you're asleep.
Its random, but atleast its an attack.

Probably leftovers for most of them. Shellbell if you prefer that. (Sweepers only IMO, but leftovers are better)

dreemxweever March 2nd, 2007 7:56 PM

ok, i was wrong about the raichu thing.. oh well.. i was close.

and this thread was meant for both requesting and rating teams. either way, can i just request a team with raichu sandslash and blastoise on it.

House of Numbers March 2nd, 2007 8:04 PM

Well, I can give you movesets for them, although I'm not a helper or whatever....

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Bold / Calm
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Rest

Sandslash @ Leftovers
Adamant
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Return

Use HP Bug over Return if you feel like getting it. But seriously, use Dugtrio over this.

Dugtrio @ Choice Band
ARENA TRAP
Adamant / Jolly
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Aerial Ace
- Sludge Bomb

Raichu @ Leftovers
Idk
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave

If you want to get Hidden Power, then use:

Jolteon @ Leftovers
Modest / Timid
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice

Or if you feel like taking an amazingly long forever using Masterball on Raikou to get the right IVs:

Raikou @ Leftovers
Modest / Timid
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Substitute
- Calm Mind

Or you can try out Zapdos, it might be easier....

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Whatever nature is -Sp Def +Sp Atk
- Hidden Power Ice (Drill Peck if you don't want to)
- Thunderbolt
- Rest / Substitute
- Sleep Talk / Thunder Wave

Only use Sleeptalk or SubWave, don't Mix'n'Match. If you want to go with HP Ice, obviously go Modest.

Idk why I feel like giving people movesets tonight....

dreemxweever March 2nd, 2007 8:09 PM

mm... how do you make HP different types?

In-game, you have no direct control over them. The base power and type of the Hidden Power are determined by the pokemon's IVs which are set when they are encountered in the wild or hatched. You can do a few things when hatching/breeding to help balance the IVs in your favor, but my knowledge is limited in that area.

Also this single thread is really mainly for team requests, since the forum area itself is made for team help.

Hey, look at me backseat modding.

House of Numbers March 2nd, 2007 8:34 PM

Lol, minimoding ftw.

Hidden Power is determined by your IVs. Here's a good IV and HP Calc.:

http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/IVCalculator.aspx

http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/HiddenPowerCalculator.aspx

Breeding for both natures and IVs is amazingly hard unless you have Emerald, an Everstone, and the time to get 31 Dittos. The Dittos also all have to have a specific quality. It would probably take a LOOOOOONG time. So just worry about IVs if you don't want to go with the Ditto thing.

No one really cares who rates now, as long as you can rate the teams right =/

dreemxweever March 6th, 2007 5:15 PM

can someone suggest an amazing moveset and EV set for Kyogre, Zapdos, (pick a good fire pokemon), (pick a good ground pokemon), (tank pokemon), (sp. atk sweeper)

Phanima March 6th, 2007 5:32 PM

Could anyone give me information on the following six Pokemon for Netbattling? Dragonair, Cloyster, Clamperl, Wailord, Duskull, and Misdreavus. I also don't mean to sound arrogant but those who are willing to help me with their statistics, could you not post "use Dragonite" and "use the full evolution" please? I'm set on using those six Pokemon. Thanks in advance. :)

Synchronize March 8th, 2007 2:13 PM

Well, I have to contest with you on Tanks and Walls. Tanks, IMO, are more pokemon that have a good amount of Def/SDef, but aren't really made for taking your hits, like Suicune, Donphan, and Miltank, or rely on resistances like Ludicolo. Walls are generally the pokemon with the highest def/sdef in the game, and most likely come with common resistances to the Defense stat they are walling (Skarmory and Weezing resist Bug and are Immune to Earthquake).

On a more Relevant note, because Steelix is your only source of walling Heracross, Toxic might not be the coolest Idea. It's also a bit wierd to see Alakazam on the same team as Tyranitar, but I wouldn't complain.

dreemxweever March 8th, 2007 2:50 PM

im not a big fan of alakazam though.. dont know why. And blissy.. Im gonna switch her for maybe zapdos? Alakazam.. gardevoir would be a good replacement?

Rubberbandman March 8th, 2007 4:44 PM

you could have told me what you don't like or not instead of making it so narrow ._.

Synch it could always be changed to Explosion ^_^

XxSilentxDeathx March 8th, 2007 5:16 PM

you can always PM someone, or look it up on urbandictionary.com so it doesn't clutter this already messed up thread...
