Does anyone here live in Canada?

I was just wondering if anyone else lives in Canada. If so, please specify your province and city. Thanks.

Flaming Torchic March 19th, 2004 4:54 PM

Yes, I am also a Canadian. I live in Ontario but I'm not telling you what city for online safety reasons.

Kayleigh March 19th, 2004 5:02 PM

I think we might as well make a 'Where do you live?' thread, because there's already another one that's asking the same about another place.

But anyways, no, I don't live in Canada.

I live about 15 minutes from downtown Montreal and Trudeau airport. I live about 40 minutes from Mirabel airport and let's see...

Alakazam March 19th, 2004 6:54 PM

Anyone from Toronto here? Seems like I'm the only one, which is weird in a city of over 5 million.

I think Lightning lives there too.

Miyu-chan March 20th, 2004 2:56 PM

Yup, Lighty lives there. I've been to Canada once and that's about it. We should really make a where do you live thread, but I think there's one already. n_n;;

If there is already a where do you live thread, then just merge Sean's thread with that one. :classic:

Actually, technically she doesn't live in Toronto, she lives in Vaughn, I think. Hey, where is she anyway? She hasn't been posting lately. But still, where are my Canadian friends!? Come on, Go Leafs Go!

Well I don't live in the actual city of Montreal since that's where all the poor people live. I hate to be them with all those car sounds at night. :P But if you want to be so technical then you should know that most international airports aren't in the actual city but they still don't say the real city it's in on the airplane ticket.

Well techinically I live just outside of Toronto, in Scarborough, but after Toronto became a Mega City, Scarborough officially became Toronto, so I guess I used to live in Scarborough, but now I live in Toronto.

Pearson International Airport is in Mississauga, not Toronto. Isn't the Montreal airport (weren't they going to rename it to something that got people angry) in Dorval?

Montreal also became a Mega city but the premier promised to change it. It's only bad for the wealthy cities because they have to pay more tax. They already renamed Dorval airport half a year ago to Pierre Elliot Trudeau International airport and the only people who got angry were the separatists. Mirabel International airport is going to turn to a cargo airport next year and that's getting a lot of people mad too.

parallelzero March 21st, 2004 1:33 PM

Legendary_Pokegirl March 21st, 2004 2:37 PM

Igglybuddy March 22nd, 2004 12:44 PM

No, I live about 10,000 miles south of Canada...

Latios Master March 22nd, 2004 5:10 PM

I don't live in Canada, but I've been to Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada 3 times in my life. 2 of those times when I was really little, and the last time last summer.

So how's the beef?

Cherrim March 23rd, 2004 5:17 PM

._. Lighty's here!! And I think the beef in Alberta is the same as it is over here.

;p Anyway, although I like to leave it at "Toronto, Ontario" so as not to get stalkers and the like (as if anyone would want to stalk me), I guess Alakazam let it out. Not like it matters. *shrug* I live in Vaughan which is a little ways north of Toronto.

I've lived in Canada all my life. I was born in Toronto and lived there for 2 years (er... I think it was Rexdale or something for people who like to be specific ;p), moved to Edmonton where I stayed until I was 6. Then I moved to White Rock (near Vancouver) for about a year and a half, then to Halifax for 4 years, and now back to the GTA. o.o I dunno if I'd really ever want to live elsewhere. XP

*wanders off randomly*

That's cool. I have a friend who lives in Richmond Hill, which I believe isn't that far from Vaughan.

Cherrim March 23rd, 2004 5:29 PM

^_^ No, it's pretty close. Vaughan and Richmond Hill are sort of adjacent to eachother. I think I go through it on my way to Japanese class every Saturday.

Isn't that what I said when I said, "That's cool. I have a friend who lives in Richmond Hill, which I believe isn't that far from Vaughan?" :P

22sa March 24th, 2004 7:13 PM

Yep, there's the beef industry here in Alberta, Canada.
