Need opinions!
Hi,
I have a question and need your opinions! I just got my level 25 lapras after defeated Giovani in Silph Tower. Do you think I should bother raising it for a long time? Or shouldnt I? I can't decide!:\ |
Raise it, kick butt with it and keep perish song
|
raise it and find surf (Obviously) teach it phychic soon
|
But..
Are you sure it wont take to long? i still wanna finish the game in decent time:laugh:
|
Depends on your definition of "decent time" and whether or not you started with Blastoise. If you have Blastoise, there really is no reason to train Lapras, but if you didn't it could prove useful as it is a pretty good tank in of itself.
|
I decided to trade it to my Ruby version and train it there after i had beaten the elite four because i play Ruby alot, my fave game ^_^

Lapras is a great Water Pokemon and it’s very underrated in my opinion. It’s takes a bit longer to train than say, Blastoise, but it’s much more diverse in its moves and very resilient with those stats. And don’t teach it Psychic or Perish Song, neither are very useful compared to some other moves that it can learn. *♣♥♦*♣♥♦*♣♥♦*♣♥♦ |
You should raise it and teach it good moves like Blizzard, Ice beam, and sing
You should use it to kill out ground, rock and fire poke'mon Plus, it's considered a legendary so that adds extra show off points to your party |
Lapras is an excellent water Pokemon. You should keep strong attacks an' all on it, if you're not going to actually go with it as competitive battles an' all that.

What? Lapras is in no way a Legendary. Just because there’s only one of it does not make it a legend. Besides, Lapras can breed with other Pokemon and Legendaries can’t do that. *♣♥♦*♣♥♦*♣♥♦*♣♥♦ |
Lapras @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb - Ice Beam / Surf - Thunderbolt / Surf - Rest / Roar / Confuse Ray - Sing Needs to learn Thunder Wave IMO. |

dont bother raising it, or i did, to level 95 exactly, and it rocks man, it really rocks but there are plenty of other pokemons that needs lower xp, that is just as gr8 as lapras, but if you are going for completness(all pokemons at 100) you'l have to train it the loooooong way up=)
|
Actually, Lapras is quite good in comparision to most Water type Pokemon. It IS worth something in a way.. Oh, and I'd love to take on one of your lower level great Pokemon with a Lapras any day. =D
Not saying its a must that I'll end up winning though .. but I won't lose unless your Pokemon is really well prepared. |
you should raise, who knows when it mite come in handy!
|
Especially for the Pokemon league they have fighting and poison types. So that will be good, you would not have to worry about Lapras getting knocked out by one or two shadow balls. Then you can have it in level 100 like me.
