Emerald Version, Safari Zone trick rail

I'm in the safari zone and I keep trying to use the mach and arco bikes on the trick rail but I can't get it to work. Can anyone tell me how to get across? I've already beaten the elite four.

Thanks,
Russ (for his son)

You need the acro bike to get across, the mach bike just helps you get up muddy slopes. And when you come to a point where the bridge goes vertical, you have to hop down in order to hop onto the separate parts of the bridge
word of advice: try to line up your bike's wheel exactly where the bridge begins

Good luck because you can find some good Pokemon

Ya, you can only go across those if you have an acro bike. Mach bike only gets you up muddy slopes and gets yoou through broken floor. It also speeds you up.
