Best game

Out of all of the games. Which one do you think is the funest.
I think Crystal version is because the Pokemon move and you go through Kanto and Johto

:t003:Dark Venusaur

joyce : the fluffy pirate~ April 16th, 2006 9:33 AM

My fave (of the list) is Yellow.
I just like the Pikachu walking behind you ^^

Crystal is nice too. (For the same reasons like Dark Venusaur...)

.:Sam:. April 16th, 2006 2:18 PM

Gold is my fav, Good storyline, 2 reigions my 2nd favorite starter (chikorita my fav starter is mudkip) jhoto has best pokemon but i don't like elite 4 cause there only lvl 40 max

The Fallen April 17th, 2006 8:52 AM

I liked silver. You got lugia at a low level so it could learn Areoblast; which is the best move ever. lol Yellow bugged me cause of Pikachu. The rest were just ok though.

molloy April 18th, 2006 5:47 AM

i really loved the blue/red it was the first game i ever played and still play it to this day

Squeegee Beckenheim April 18th, 2006 5:50 AM

I loved Silver the best I guess. Bobby mentioned Lugia, but I also liked one of the exclusive Pokemon to Silver only. I can't remember which one it was though.

Twilight Itachi X April 18th, 2006 6:48 AM

Either Green or Yellow. I think Green's my favorite though, because it's one of the classics like Red and Blue, with different looking sprites (even though some of them look weird like the Deformed Nidoking and Nidoqueen, Ekans, Zubat, and, of course the infamous Mew sprite, lol) but it's pretty good game plays just like Red and Blue and is easy to play despite the Japanese language, but if you know how to play R/B/Y it won't be hard. Yellow's a runner up favorite, with Pikachu following you around and the bonus Pikachu's Beach mini game if your Pikachu can Surf! Plus Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are all availiable to obtain on this version! So those are my favorites.

Renagadez April 18th, 2006 6:58 AM

My fave is silver, emerald with a close second.
silver was revolutionary, the hype and the wait was worth it.Also the reason I liked silver over gold was simply put Lugia and his sick aeroblast.
I loved the g/s series becuase of the whole night day and daily events. And from red and blue the leap was huge to silver and gold

JX Valentine April 18th, 2006 3:11 PM

I voted for Red/Blue out of that list. It was new, it was a fresh concept, and it had a bunch of funky glitches for us to play with when we got bored with the actual game. (I can't tell you how many times I've accessed Glitch City just because I had nothing better to do. I'm shameless. XD)

raichu_thunder April 21st, 2006 1:37 AM

Mine would be Yellow because you can face team rocket..can somebody please tell me what is the green version? I have never heard of it?!

mew_rocks April 21st, 2006 2:34 AM

Well my real favourite is in the 3rd gen but close second is gold..Its just soo good. And Green version was the blue version (basically) of Japan.

Geometric-sama April 21st, 2006 7:44 AM

Yellow was fun, but I'm not a huge fan of the following-the-TV-series thing. Crystal was pretty decent, as was Gold. I didn't play Silver.

enyce April 21st, 2006 1:15 PM

Silver is my favorite, because of the graphics mostly. They were a lot better than R/B/Y. But yellow is good because you get all three starters. I liked silver because it has cyndaquil, it was my favorite starter.

I liked the concept too, Johto is the best region and it had the ebst gym leaders too. I liked the elite four because it wasnt insanly hard. But I didnt like how the levels moved slowly....Like the gyms dont reach level 20 until leader 3 or 4. Plus the wild pokemon in Johto minus silver cave doesnt reach level 30....

Persona April 21st, 2006 1:20 PM

crystal is better because:

1. its newer and better than red/blue.
2. silver and gold is the same thing as crystal but its more fun, because you get to go to kanto also. ^^

but i also like yellow because pikachu is behind your back =D

The Great Saiyaman April 21st, 2006 1:24 PM

I loved Crystal! Unlike the newer games, you can actually go to Kanto. I loved battling Ash and Gary.

Fl0W:HHGURU April 21st, 2006 4:39 PM

Yellow, because its something different from any other game out there.

Johnny Boy~ April 21st, 2006 4:47 PM

i think red/blue because it was fun to have to train a team and not figure what was going on because of the bad graphics. yellow would be the best, but your team was too hard to train because the levels were so high. (elite 4 in the 60's!!WTF!!)

Mechaman April 21st, 2006 4:53 PM

crystal was my favorite.
mainly because the pokemon move in that game
i just started, so can anyone tell me where to get a nidoran(M)
thanks a lot

enyce May 6th, 2006 9:59 PM

I also prefer yellow over blue/red is because the pokemon sprites looked horrible

Toadsworth May 6th, 2006 10:18 PM

crystal. no doubt about it.

Smarties-chan May 6th, 2006 11:41 PM

I would have to say Gold... sure Crystal has all the fancy added stuff and Silver has better looking sprites (most of them look better in Silver than in Gold in my opinion...), but there's something about Gold that I like more. It might be the exclusive Pokémon, might be something else, even I don't know O.o

Insanely hard? -.- I had no trouble beating them even at the point when I thought Surf on Gyarados was a good idea -_-

Johnay May 16th, 2006 7:42 PM

Gold ALL the way!

Hello This is like my second post here woo hoo! Well anyway I think that Pokemon Gold is the best 'cuz I love all the pokemon you get on it... well besides Sentret *Spits On Sentret* I also enjoy it 'cuz you have to go though bothe regions, Kanto/Johto and get the 16 badges. The one thing that disapoints me about it is the fact that it has no moving pokemon. (Please note that I know that crystal has moving pokemon I just dont like crystal because you get suicune so dam easily and you get ho-oh and lugia at low lvls)

Dam my posts are way too long I need to pace my posts out a bit hehe

Magnemite May 21st, 2006 8:50 PM

Why does everyone keep saying they like Crystal more than Gold/Silver because you can go to Kanto? You can do that in Gold/Silver too, you know.

Anyway, I think my favorite is Gold. I would like Crystal, but it's basically the same thing with a few tiny changes so Gamefreak and nintendo can suck more money out of your pockets. I felt the same way about Yellow and Emerald.

You can go to Kanto in Silver and Gold as well...

I loved Red, it was my favourite game I'd ever played. Silver was even better because the sprites didn't look scary and you could go to both Johto and Kanto. Plus Lugia's aeroblast.

Katakoe May 23rd, 2006 4:22 AM

I liked Crystal, I just like how the Pokemon moved, and how you could be a girl. xD
But yellow would be a close second. <<
