In a way, you're right. But you've forgotten that this is a great benefit to those completely lacking MSN, YIM or AIM. Take our staff member Hiyori for example, or someone like my good friend Chuchino even though she never comes here. They'll want to talk to their friends of the PokeCommunity, and what better place is there to do it than here - or the chatroom?

The DCC is MADE to be like that. If you want a single topic to be discussed, make a seperate thread entitled something regarding the topic ... |dies| I suck at talking formally. The topic ALWAYS changes when you've been away. Its something you have to work with and adapt to.

I do however, find the "little or no rigidity" thing a bit untrue. I won't elaborate though.
