rate our sceptile
Sceptile:
Leaf Blade Earthquake Slash Focus Punch |
ok i will rate for Sceptile
|
Ingame go Leaf Blade/Crunch/Dragon Claw/Substitute or Thunder Punch. Subseed Sceptile is stupid ingame because you can just do an all out sweep.
|
Pax Deorum suggested a good in-game moveset. Sceptile's attack is average, and Earthquake is good for Fire and Steel-types. I'd get rid of Focus Punch for Dragon Claw since you'd have to breed to get Crunch on Treeko. Its not worth restarting your Pokemon for one move, especially in-game, because you just want to all out sweep in-game.
|
thanks for the help! we'll both use that!
|
i rate your sceptile
your sceptile is ok...but u should definetly work on the moveset i rate it 2/10

I don't even think Sceptile can learn Slash. :\

Rate your sceptile 3 of 10. My Sceptile ...
Sceptile - (TIMID) 'Overgrow' w/lefties EV's - focus on speed and satt - Leaf Blade - Leech Seed - Toxic - Substitute Stall, stall, stall, stall, and when your done with all that stalling stall some more. If stalling ain't your thing try (substitute / endeavor / quick attack / leaf blade). Sub down your hp - endeavor - quick attack. Never used it, just spit balling. |
Lol. Stall Sceptile really stinks. Dragon Claw or Thunderpunch over Toxic in my opinion.
|
You have got to be kidding me! Sceptile is one of the best stallers in the game. First you Sub, and then between Lefties and Leech Seed, your concurrent Subs are practically free. NB Sceptile usually has HP [Ice] for obvious reasons, while in-game Sceptile is stuck with Toxic, Earthquake, Crunch, or Thunderpunch.
|
Its Defenses stink. I'm suprised you haven't realized that by now. :\
|
|
just fix the moveset.
if ya just fix yer moveset it could be a good sceptile.. a move set such as this
thunderpunch leaf blade leech seed substitute |

That is what HP [Ice] is for. If your Sceptile cannot outrun Salamence, you need a new Sceptile.
|
Sceptile:
Leaf Blade Earthquake Slash Focus Punch With only attack moves i figured it was in game - and if you wanna try and get <hp ice> in game good luck. After 50 hatches you might get it but it could be power 47 for all you know. You gotta better chance of impregnating your front lawn but i don't suggest it cause the grass stains are really hard to get out. <wink wink> I once hatched 67 shroomies to get <hp ghost> for my eventual breloom (focus punch / hp ghost / leech seed / spore) and when i finally got it it wasn't very powerful. On a side note why not make shadow punch an egg move for shroomish/breloom, it gets most of the other punches mehh. |
If you read my previous post, HP [Ice] is for NB only, as is the whole SubSeed concept. You can still SubSeed in-game, but it doesn't have the same effect, unfortunately.
|
Well, it seems that this guy probably doesn't play NetBattle by the looks of it. :\
|
Who pooped in your cheerios today yomama. I'm just explaining why i use toxic instead of <hp ice>. For net battle <hp ice> is the standard. Please what a loser i am, i don't play net battle, quick someone take me behind the wood shed and shoot me now.:knockedou

Toxic isn't even good in-game. You'd want to all out sweep in-game. |

Toxic on Sceptile is lol. Quote:

What the heck? "Pooped in your cheerioes"? Lol. That's weirdest thing I ever heard.
I'm hear all week folks don't forget to tip your waitresses. ;) for you yomama I just get bored of all out attack but i'd use dragonclaw inplace of toxic for it's nuetral hit anything ability. I just like toxic but whatever floats your boat. <Put down the pitchforks and torches villagers> I'd always use sub-seed though. |
