Here we are, once again...Yeah...another pixel art thread -_-;

Well, being a while since I posted anything. Just a few newer pieces for now.

8Bit Stuff (8Bit meaning a piece that uses only four colours, no more, no less, it does not automatically mean the sprites you'd expect to see in a retro megaman game)

Lil dudes style:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/matt-crowe/lildino.png

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/matt-crowe/8bitspike.png (Made for a duel with Pandora's box, who, for the past two weeks has still failed to finish his own challenge.)

Other things:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/matt-crowe/colvatbomb.png (Character for my comic that's currently in developement, expect it out sometime this week guys.)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/matt-crowe/Piratepixelart.png (I only coloured and shaded this, I did not do the line art, I repeat, did not do the lineart. Although I did edit it a little whilst colouring and AAing. It was mainly done for practise in using a small palette)

Anyways, expect a lot more soon guys, comments are very appreciated as always, yada yada yada.

Edit: 18 views and not a single reply...yet recolours get two pages...wow, that really is amazing.

Nice work, Vaati.

I really like the pirate. Not really much wrong with any of them.

I'm guessing you're a member of Pixel Joint, yes?

Fox♠ June 12th, 2006 2:13 PM

Yes, but I only really done anything there in the past month or so, and thank, and thank you again for actually commenting, you've made my night ^_^

Goatman56 June 12th, 2006 5:31 PM

Cool sprites as always Vaati, the Cowboy Bebop Sprite is awesome.

Fox♠ June 13th, 2006 12:57 AM

Thanks Goatman.

I have just one thing to ask your members, is it impossible to get comments unless the art is pokemon related? Because that's the way it seems.

Klippy June 14th, 2006 11:45 AM

I just now noticed the Cowboy Bebop one, it's really good.

Yeah, people usually (at least, n00bs) only comment on Pokemon stuff.

Domin-8 June 14th, 2006 12:07 PM

I like your 8bit moogle, is it harder to do 8bit sprites or the new ones?

Shadow Wolf 2 June 14th, 2006 12:27 PM

Pretty nice work there Vaati!
The pirate was created by Xion Night.
Some of them have a bit of a sketchy look.
Might wanna get rid o 'those black outlines.

You mind if I make a quick edit tomorrow?

Allstories June 14th, 2006 12:46 PM

Work on your lines. The sketchy look just doesn't work for pixel art. Just fix them up and make them flow smoothly.

Nice job, otherwise, though.

Fox♠ June 15th, 2006 4:54 AM

Thank you all, and Allstories, I tried them with smoother lines, they just don't look right though.
