I can come up with better thread titles than you guys

Porygon2 @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Trace
EVs: 232 HP / 136 Atk / 96 Def / 44 Spd
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Double-Edge
- Recover
- Sharpen
- Thunderbolt

double-edge > frustration, as it ohko's dugtrio

Metagross @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 156 HP / 56 Def / 8 Spd / 216 SAtk / 72 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Meteor Mash
- Psychic
- Pursuit
- Thunderpunch

coolest gross set ever, you'll see later what else is pursuit good for other than for gengars

Weezing (M) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Flamethrower
- Pain Split
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp

haze weezing doesn't help this team, really
wisping hera or milo isn't that much of a problem anymore either

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes

hp:bug because celebi is fat

Zapdos @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Spd / 136 SAtk / 96 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Metal Sound
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

eh the main idea of this team;
no, it doesn't necessarly need hp:ice/grass since this team can handle ground types quite well
if you say that the rest of the team handling them is not enough, then i'll say that i can metal sound 'say the swampert switch-in, switch to gross on the ice beam and pursuit it out or psychic it if it'd stay in with -2 sdef, not knowing that my gross is special oriented
duggy is loled at by p2, and most ground types, other than flygon/claydol who p2 will just setup on, will get hurt by spikes anyway to let this zapdos set work effectively

Celebi @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 4 Spd / 56 SAtk / 100 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Recover

this doesn't need to outspeed mence; surviving its cb hp flying is more important imo, so that this can actually have the chance to beat cbmence if i can catch it with a cmed psychic once, and with another one later. ddmence is even easier to deal with. also has a better chance of surviving the dugtrio hp:bug this way, so that it can baton pass to p2 and gg.

A definitely different set for P2. I'd like Shadow Ball > Sharpen, but hey it's all good.

Surprise factor galore.

Weezing (M) @ Leftovers ** ...
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 80 Atk / 172 Def/ 44 Sp Att
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Flamethrower
- Pain Split
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp

Special Weezing needs some Sp Att.

Fine

You'll need something to take on Swampert once Celebi/Metagross is gone. Swampert is more likely to start Cursing rather than immediately EQ on Metagross.

Ok.

This team will mostly win on the combination of surprise factors like specialgross. I'm not completely convinced about the lack of HP on Zapdos, I'd replace Metal Sound for HP Grass personally but I can kinda see the logic that you're following.

Squarewalker June 26th, 2006 6:51 AM

p2 doesn't need shadow ball, that's why there's pursuit on gross;
eh, i'll give weezing some satk evs, though it usually does fine without any;
obviously after a pokemons' counters are gone, that pokemon sweeps; celebi and metagross are there for a reason ;-/

and yeah, suprise is a huge factor in 386
