I need some Movesets
I've never been really good at moveset, so if anyone could help me with a move set for these pokemon (this is Pokmon LeafGreen, by the way)
-Venusaur -Dragonite -Raichu -Alakazam -Golem -Gengar Change any pokemon you see that need to be changed to another, give them hold items also. Also, EVs really confuse me, so if you five me EV's tell me how they work. |

^That will tell you how to EV your pokemon so read it |
ya drop dragonite if anything hes a good HM slave. but what game are you trading with, that would open up a pleathera of possibilities for your team. i just hope its not FR.
|
Dragonite an HM slave? LOL
|
Fr0st, i dont think i can find 6 leftovers in one game. I'm not playing NB this is in-game LeafGreen
|
Well you can if you get them from emerald by trading or something...
Just use alternate items such as boost berries or give Golem CB and change its last 2 attacks to double-edge and explosion... There are other items to use such as quick claw and scope lens... I'd give Snorlax the leftovers if it was your onli one |
dragonite is a dirty HM slave hes as bad as tropius. all of his good moves are spec and hes a physical sweeper. hes pales in comparison to his counterpart from hoenn, salamence.
and cant you pick-up leftovers. |
It's called pick up. You CAN Pick up Leftovers.
Venusaur @ Leftovers Modest Nature Overgrow - Sleep Powder - Leech Seed - Sludge Bomb - Synthesis Venasaur is not really used for attacking so Sleep Powder, Leech Seed, and then Sludge Bomb, healing once in a while. Dragonite @ Leftovers Quiet Nature Inner Focus - Thunderbolt / Flamethower - Ice Beam / Dragon Claw - Substitute - Focus Punch This is better ingame than the DD set. BoltBeam or FlameClaw. Raichu I you can't get surf don't use this. Since this is FRLG use Jolteon: Jolteon @ Leftovers Timid Nature Volt Absorb - Thunderbolt - HP [Grass / Ice] / Thunderwave (Onloy if you can't get the right HP) - Substitute - Baton Pass I'm keep Gengar and getting rid of Alakazam because this works well with Genger. Snorlax @ Leftovers Careful Nature Thick Fat - Curse - Body Slam / Return - Earthquake / Shadow Ball - Rest You might want Shadow Ball to kill Gengar. Golem I don't think you should be using Golem. Use Dugtrio: Dugtrio @ Choice Band Adament Nature Arena Trap - Earthquake - Rock Slide - Aerial Ace - Hidden Power Bug Traps and kills. Make sure you have Arena Trap. Gengar @ Leftovers Brave Nature - Sludge Bomb - Ice Punch - Thunderbolt - Focus Punch Use Sludge Bomb on Blissey. Predict Softboiled and Focus Punch. |

Dragonite can learn just as many good physical attacks as special. Furthermore, it can learn Focus Punch, which Salamence can’t learn. It also has better Sp. Defense and can survive Ice attacks that Salamence can’t survive. So in conclusion, Dragonite is not worse than Salamence and it’s certainly not a bad Pokemon. ~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~ |
Why do people suggest NB sets that are next to useless ingame?
|
How do you get a certain Hidden Power TM?
|

Okay, what Allergoric Zapdos did is suggest to you a bunch of Hidden Powers to use on your Pokemon, but that won’t work in-game. Hidden Powers are near useless outside of Netbattle because you’ll never get the type you want and even if you did, it’ll probably be at such a low power that it shouldn’t be bothered with. Also, fyi Exokriz, there is only one Hidden Power TM and it’s type and power depends on your Pokemon’s IVs. ~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~ |
>_< you guys are really confusing me with all this NetBattle talk, I play NetBattle, and suck at making treams on there. But, I dot want a NetBattle team, I need good Movesets for a team on Leafgreen.....
|
Just use common sense and sweepers

Yes, go with Frost’s suggestions please. ~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~ |
but sala can learn a wider variety of moves like rockslide and crunch which can greatly help it to be a good sweeperwhich is what it should be.
so i feel that due to salamences superior speed and wider variety of moves (however slim that margin may be) that it is a better sweeper than dragonite. |
I also give Salamence a slight edge over Dragonite, but to say it "is a dirty HM slave hes as bad as tropius" is just plain laughable and only makes you look bad.

1. to put simply it wastes gengars potential to be a good physical sweeper, instead you trying to make him wall. 2. S toss? on gar? ... 3. all 'n all this is a dusclops set and a bad one at that. |
...........salamence Is Not In Leafgreen, Unless You Trade It!!!, Shut Up About Salamence!!!!
