Nuh-uh, Camerupt doesn’t suck. It’s quite awesome as a CBer, and it’s the only Ground type (besides Steelix) that’s not weak against Ice or Grass attacks, and unlike Steelix, it can OKO Skarm and Forretress with Overheat. It’s Water weakness can be taken care of if the trainer has a Water-resist on his team….and unfortunately, this team doesn’t have one. But that’s not Camerupt’s fault, it’s due to poor balance on part of the trainer.

Torkoal + vappy = sex.

Vappy takes the weakness for it's benefit, and balances stuff out. Going boom with cb is fun.

Conman July 2nd, 2006 6:42 PM

How about a Manectric instead of Exploud?

jc_rcw July 2nd, 2006 6:48 PM

Use zangoose like AB said, but for manectric

Manectric @ Petaya
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden power grass/ice/water (if you get lucky)/idk then.
- Crunch

enyce July 2nd, 2006 6:53 PM

I prefer Magneton over manectric

-Thunderbolt
-Metal Sound
-Thunder Wave
-Reflect

On zangoose just swords dance and put three physical moves on it

jc_rcw July 2nd, 2006 6:57 PM

For zangoose would be
@leftovers/salac berry (good luck getting one)
return/crush claw/flail/endure/sub
Brick Break/reversal/endure/sub
Shadow Ball
Sword dance

Conman July 3rd, 2006 9:07 PM

I decided to replace Exploud with this
Magnemite - Magneton @Leftovers
Modest
- Thunderbolt
- Metal Sound
- Thunder Wave
- Reflect

does that look ok.

XD thats what I suggested. Yeah go with that...

But you cant catch magnemite until you get your fifth badge :'(

Because you need surf to get to its nest

jc_rcw July 4th, 2006 4:48 AM

I was hoping to got Goosers =(, anyways that set looks ok.

Lord Mike July 4th, 2006 5:41 AM

You can be daring and go for a Special HP. I got HP Grass on Magneton with a 65 BP. You might need to watch those IVs.

jc_rcw July 4th, 2006 5:43 AM

maggy can use hp fire or hp grass.

Lord Mike July 4th, 2006 5:54 AM

I use HP Grass for Ground and Rock-types.

jc_rcw July 4th, 2006 6:03 AM

Hp fire is used in netbattle for forry, but I use grass for the same reason.

Same because Magneton is so suspectable to ground.

But then again, switching out can be your friend.

jc_rcw July 4th, 2006 2:39 PM

Also I forgot to tell you that you can hit rock types with t-bolt and do more damage.
