Check out meh Corsola
Ok if you all be so kind to take a look at my Corsola and tell me what you think. I'd greatly appreciate it. :)
Corsola Lv. 42 Male. Ability- Hustle Nature- Quirky ~Attacks~ Mirror Coat Rock Blast Bubblebeam Recover |
This is mine if you want some other ideas too.
Corsola (M) @ Leftovers ** Coral Reef Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 96 SAtk / 72 SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Calm Mind - Ice Beam - Surf - Recover Recover is a must on all Corsola as everybody probably knows. Mirror Coat works well with Recover. Surf>Bubblebeam for power. Rock Blast is meh but whatever. I like the CM set better and try to get a defensive raising nature because its better at defenses. |
No, Recover isn't a must at all. It gets natural cure and Rest. Although with CM, I guess it's better. But it still dies to status. It's HP isn't great, it's defenses are average and all the other stats are below average. Anyway, I guess it can do something...
Corsola @ Leftovers Natural Cure - Rock Blast/Rock Slide - Surf - Ice Beam/Toxic/Confuse Ray - Rest/Recover It can't really take a hit, so Mirror Coat isn't really an option, as lightning or grass will OHKO. It may work well with CM, but then CM really looses it's point, doesn't it? To use it just for defense, Amnesia works better. This set is mainly for stalling, with Toxic and Confuse Ray. And Rest + Natural Cure = Coolness. Anyway, if you are going to keep Hustle as a trait, try a CB set. Hustle + CB = 75% boost to attack, which is something. But IMO the -20% to accuracy is deadly for you. Anyway, here it is: Corsola @ Choice Band Hustle - Rock Slide/Rock Blast - Earthquake - Shadow Ball - Return HP Flying instead of Return, but not ingame as you can't get it. It has a great movepool, too bad it sucks... |
It doesn't suck if you know how to use it. :\

That doesn’t mean anything. Corsola is a sucky Pokemon. End of story. I can use a Rattata to kill a Snorlax by using Sub, Endeavor, and Quick Attack but that doesn’t mean Rattata is a good Pokemon. Corsola has a lot going against it. A horrible Rock/Water typing means it’s now weak against Ground and Fighting attacks, but it’s Electric and Grass weaknesses still haven’t gone away. In fact, its Grass weakness is now two times worse. It’s offensive stats are terrible, and its above average defenses are undermined by its horrible base HP. Plus, it’s slow as heck. If you want a cooler and better Rock type, get Cradily. It can learn the same moves that Corsola can (minus the water attacks), but it has much better stats and typing. ~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~ |
Sorry about that. You're right. I totally forgot about Cradily.
I was thinking of making a Cradily in my new UU team. Cradily (M) @ Leftovers ** Fake Flower Trait: Suction Cups EVs: 228 HP / 56 Atk / 100 Def / 120 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Toxic - Rock Slide - Recover - Earthquake You probably need more attack, but whatever. I like this thing best. |
i'dd go with the following stuff:
Cradily (M) @ Leftovers ** Fake Flower Trait: Suction Cups EVs: 228 HP / 56 Atk / 100 Def / 120 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - mirror coat(ironically the best way to get it together with rock slide is through a corsola, breeding it with rock slide, training it and breeding it:P - Rock Slide - Recover - Earthquake |
I believe we were trying to get a moveset for Corsola not Cradily... Although Cradily is better, You should use a Corsola with a Natural Cure trait
And Cradily should know ~Barriar/Earthquake ~Mirror Coat/Toxic ~Rock Slide ~Recover |
i'dd go with frost's set, earthquake and toxic. it is a bad pokemon.
