Water mono: good or bad?

This is a net battle team

Kingdra (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 164 HP / 44 Def / 252 SAtk / 48 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
- Surf

My lead. can sweep entire teams alone.

Ludicolo (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 200 HP / 100 Def / 208 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Leech Seed
- Rain Dance
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

Quite reliable. Can be used as an anti tank.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 196 HP / 168 Atk / 144 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Rock Slide
- Substitute

Not very happy with his performance. Needs abit of tweaking.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 84 Def / 172 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Taunt

Somewhat situational sweeper. Wins the game if the remaining pokemon don't have electric attacks.

Cloyster (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SAtk / 92 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes

Supposedly my physical tank. Not veryuseful in my opnion actually.
Might need to replace this.

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 228 HP / 228 SAtk / 52 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Confuse Ray
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Thunder

Rain dance thunder never misses. I like to use it against people who
use double team. His volt absorb is great against electric users.

Generally what i think i lack in this team is a good phazer. I also experience problems
with self buffers(eg. CM cune/Zapdos and celebi, whom i hate the most) ,special tanks and mass status(toxic/para).

Any ideas on how to improve this team? I try not to use Ubers. Thx

OK cool... Meyb More HP>the defences

Ludicolo (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 200 HP / 100 Def / 208 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Leech Seed
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Toxic

In the rain surf will do more than 100 damage like 80% of the time, No recovery move other than leech seed seems sad but i guess with Rain Dish it could work

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 56 Atk / 96 Def / 100 SAtk / 16 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)

- Earthquake
- Curse
- Ice Beam
- Rest

If it can get 401 HP then you should give it 401 HP to survive 5 seismic Tosses

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 84 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 168 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Taunt

Hidden Power Flying works better and gets stab so it becomes stronger than EQ

Cloyster (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SAtk / 92 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes

Not very useful in my opinion either, insert Suicune/Milotic here tbh

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 228 HP / 228 SAtk / 52 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Confuse Ray
- Thunder Wave
- Surf
- Thunderbolt

Nah I don't like Rain Dance, People arent supposed to use Double Team either way so you shouldn't worry about it. THunder Wave allows you to forget about Lanturns speed problem

Fixed the EVs on some of them. Normal Mono Water team tbh, nothing too special...

Toxic>HP Grass IMO.

My lead. can sweep entire teams alone.

I like Swift Swim better but I guess if Rain Dish is working then its fine.

Quite reliable. Can be used as an anti tank.

Adamant or Impish if you aren't using special attacks. I like Cursepert much better.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 160 Atk / 92 Def / 16 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rock Slide
- Curse
- Rest
- Earthquake

This is mine. You don't have to use those EVs.

Not very happy with his performance. Needs abit of tweaking.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 84 Def / 172 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Rock]

HP Flying for STAB IMO. I would put a couple EVs into Special Defense because Intimidate sort of makes up for its port Defense.

Somewhat situational sweeper. Wins the game if the remaining pokemon don't have electric attacks.

Cloyster (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SAtk / 92 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Explosion
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes

No Special Defense EVs IMO. Less Special Attack and way more Defense. I usually get around 480.

Supposedly my physical tank. Not veryuseful in my opnion actually.
Might need to replace this.

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 228 HP / 228 SAtk / 52 SDef

- Thunder

Fine, whatever.

Rain dance thunder never misses. I like to use it against people who

I guess Swampert can phaze.

For Gyrados, hp rock does 2 times to flying while hp flying does 1.5 times due to STAB. People usually send out flying types to counter gyrados. So im not so sure abt it actually.

Anyways, i don't mind trying out new things for my team. Maybe a few options may help. Swampert can phaze and Tank 0.o. If im not wrong milotic can tank too. It took an EQ from my 900+atck(4 DDs) gyrados and not die even without marvel scale active 0.0 omghaxorz!!!

And swift swim is better then rain dish? Hmm... gotta think bout tht.:\ Besides seed ludi can recover from Giga drain. Not sure if it becomes so anti tanker after adding tht in... especially blissey.

Btw hp grass wipes out water types like starmie in 2 hits. Good in my opnion as he is a sweeper and toxic is more of a DoT skill. Besides Ice beam and surf is weak against water types.

Thanks for the comments btw.

HP Electric on Kingdra so that Gyarados doesn't go "lol i win" to your team.

Can anyone give me a Tentacruel with haze and or spin(maybe with sludge bomb for those darn CM celebis)? Any other comments, desection or criticism encouraged. Thanks :)
