Pax Deorum July 27th, 2006 1:29 PM

Calm Mind Blastoise is the new metagame.

Anyway, for Zard: Swords Dance/Wing Attack/Earthquake/Fire Blast. Sad you missed Wing Attack probably.

Dragonite: Put Ice Beam in the last slot. Surf is ok

Tyranitar: Dragon Dance/Earthquake/Rock Slide/Thunder Wave. Dragon Dance is obtained with this breed chain Horsea-------->Lapras------------>T-Tar.

Zapdos: Thunderbolt/Drill Peck/Substitute/Thunder Wave

Blastoise: Surf/Ice Beam/Toxic/Rest

Mewtwo: If you can trade to R/S/E teach it Calm Mind/Psychic/Thunderbolt/Recover. If you can't then put Ice Beam over it

mathrocks12345 July 27th, 2006 2:29 PM

I still have Calm Mind, but I think I will teach it to Blastoise because it is a Sp Sweeper. For Tyranitar, I don't want to re breed, because it will take time to hatch egg and I hate training Tyranitar. I think I should teach it Bulk Up because I think defence is better than speed.
Should I do that?
Is there any other good flying type TM (expect Aerial Ace)

Lord Mike July 27th, 2006 2:57 PM

Pax Deorum July 27th, 2006 3:01 PM

Blastoise DOESN'T get Calm Mind.
TEACH it to MEWTWO

starmie fighter July 27th, 2006 3:04 PM

blastoise does too get calm mind, stop trying to put him off the idea ._.

*Switching to sarcastic mode*

*Switch back to normal*

.....XD

mathrocks12345 July 28th, 2006 2:27 AM

Ok, I think I got my final team (Feel free to comment)
Charizard
Wing attack/Fly
Fire Blast (for strong fire attack)
Flamethrower (accuracy)
Swords Dance/Earthquake (I don't want rock slide)

Dragonite
Surf
Thunderbolt
Dragon Claw
Subsitute/Ice Beam (You can choose)

Zapdos
Arieal Ace (Auto Hit)
Shock Wave
Thunderwave
Thunder/Light Screen

Blastoise
Surf
Ice Beam
Toxic/Calm Mind (Calm mind if Mewtwo doesn't work well)
Rest

Mewtwo
Psychic
Recover
Brick Break/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt (Brick Break against dark, also, can Mewtwo learn Brick Break?)
Calm Mind/Flamethrower

Tryanatar
Rock SLide
Earthquake
Crunch
Ice Beam/Thunderbolt

Thanks for helping me, but you can still make corrections...

Synchronize July 28th, 2006 3:53 AM

lol seriously, Blastoise doesnt get Calm Mind. and Mewtwo ALWAYS works well with Calm Mind. Yes Mewtwo gets Brick Break, But Ice Beam/Tbolt/Recover would prolly be cooler. Zapdos Is better off with Drill Peck over Aerial Ace and need Rest over Shockwave. Charizard either needs Fire Blast or Flamethrower, NOT BOTH. You can put EQ over one of those slots. Dragonite can be Substitute/Focus Punch/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt.

mathrocks12345 July 28th, 2006 4:08 AM

Should I put Brick Break instead of Ice Beam/Thunderbolt? But if I do Brick Break, it needs Attack ( I think) so Calm mind would be useless...

Lord Mike July 28th, 2006 4:38 AM

CM/T-bolt/Psychic/Recover on Mewtwo IMO.

NO FLY. Fly sucks. WA>Fly

T-bolt on Zappy please. T-bolt/DP/T-wave/Light Screen or Rest is coolest IMO.

Fire Blast only on Zard IMO. No F-thrower.

Have a nice freaken day.

You can give a variety of types with Dragonite, but I prefer that one.

Tyranitar
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Thunderbolt
Dragon Dance

Zapdos
Thunderbolt
Drill Peck
Hidden Power (Grass)
[Bfiller[/B]

Blastoise
Surf
Brick Break
Ice Beam
Calm Mind

I can give votes to Mewtwo, but what nature is it? It really helps.
[email protected]
Brave Nature
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt/Ice Beam
-Recover

if

[email protected]
Modest Nature
-Psychic
-Calm Mind
-Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Flamethrower (whatever you lack)
Recover

Thanks for helping

Changes in Bold. And most attacks are similar to your other pokemon because I like that set. Most of the ideas I'm saying have already been metioned else where, but I like this one. Pretty good overall.

Flame Demon July 28th, 2006 5:38 AM

Blastoise can't learn Calm Mind smart one and Brick Break sucks on it too.

HP Grass is hard to get in-game because you need the exact IVs to get it.

aragornbird July 28th, 2006 9:47 AM

~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~

starmie fighter, that was disappointing. Thinking that a Blastoise can learn Calm Mind…i=[
Same goes for you, Lugialord. Also Brick Break sucks on Blastoise. It’s not effective against anything Blastoise is weak against, it’s not gonna help against Snorlax or Blissey since they can heal the damage away.
Also, don’t suggest Hidden Powers on in-game Pokemon. This is not Netbattle.

Mathrocks, put Rest on Blastoise (to survive longer) and you can heal it with a Poke Flute during your in-game travels.

Also, why the heck is Flame Demon back?

Pax Deorum July 28th, 2006 10:48 AM

He's YoMama's "brother silly"
And starmie_fighter was being sarcastic

Flame Demon July 28th, 2006 10:50 AM

My big bro finally let me back on. He said he felt like being nice today so I was like great! Though as long as long as I don't crash his NetBattle again. XD

Well, it seems like you guys have most of it covered now. My job here is done.

*Peace Out*

Pax Deorum July 28th, 2006 11:31 AM

say hi to "your brother" for me

Flame Demon July 28th, 2006 12:36 PM

Dude, I'm not kidding. I, like many other people, have siblings. End of story.

Yep, the "ontopic" posts keep getting better and better.

Man, my little brother makes excuses to get on my laptop. When I get a hold of him...

HP Grass still can be freaken hard to accomplish in-game, especially with the right BP. I accomplished it before, but it took so long that I...

mathrocks12345 July 28th, 2006 2:19 PM

Ok, I have some changes, and here it is...
Charizard
Wing Attack
Flamethrower/Fire Blast (Don't know to do power, or accuracy and PP)
Wing Attack
Swords Dance
EQ

Dragonite
Thunderbolt
Surf
Dragon Claw
Ice Beam/Flamethrower (Need Help)

Mewtwo
Physhic
Recover
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Brick Break (can't decide)

Tryanatar
Rock Slide
EQ
Crunch
Ice Beam/ Bulk Up? It might help...

Zapdos
Thunderbolt
Drill Peck
Thunder Wave
Light Screen

Blastoise
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
Toxic
Good Team? Need help in bold.

that's why you use passwords to log on to windows

Lord Mike July 29th, 2006 4:44 AM

My freaken mom won't let me set a password.

Tyranitar can't learn Bulk Up smart one. Curse or Dragon Dance please. Thunderbolt is coolest on Mewtwo IMO because it kills two of the most common types in the game. BoltBeam on Nite. Fire Blast or Overheat on Zard.

Have a nice day.

~YoMama~

mathrocks12345 July 29th, 2006 4:10 PM

And for Mewtwo, should I put Brick Break? It does kill Dark and Normal types... o_0

Lord Mike July 29th, 2006 5:15 PM

CM/T-bolt or IB/Psy/Recover. End of story.

aragornbird July 29th, 2006 6:36 PM

~*^*~~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~ ~*^*~~*^*~

Stop being lazy and don’t use abbreviations.

Mewtwo
-Psychic
-Calm Mind
-Recover
-Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt

If Blissey and Snorlax give you trouble:

-Psychic
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Flamethrower/Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/Recover

But that is a more competitive set. The first set should get you through the game just fine.
