It's been some time since WB hasn't showed some new eps of Pokemon...my guess is that they are saving those in the new CW.

New episodes of Pokemon isn't going to be on WB anymore... It's going over to Cartoon Network in the fall. That's when we'll get new eps and the new voice actors.

Bleach is good for you. So is Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. And Fullmetal Alchemist. And Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. And Fate/stay night. And s-CRY-ed. And Naruto. And Full Metal Panic!. And RahXephon. And Hellsing. And Wolf's Rain. And especially Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Card Captor Sakura, and Trigun.

For the record, all of those series > Gravitation. There.

Dawg 2005 August 2nd, 2006 6:23 PM

The only one I've really heard of out of those is Naruto and FMA. XD

MegaDitto August 2nd, 2006 6:23 PM

Jack. You just pissed off Kura. >:O

And I just posted my pic. >_>

*knows this is late but doesn't care*

Longest running anime un-cut is Pokemon (next year is 10 years). But if you want the one with the most eps (counting all of the shows put together) then that'll be Gundam. XD
Can't be Gundam, it's been around for a long time, but as different series. Same with Pokemon, the series that's been on TV straight for the longest amount of time is Sazae-san. It's been on the air since 1969 and has over 1,000 episodes.

Sorry. Had to fix that for you. ^^

Yeah, the whole "OVER 1,000" episodes kinda means it has more than that.

._. No he didn't~ I was just sewing so I couldn't answer~

o_o Gravitation's a really good series~ o.o IMO, anyways~ @@ Just.. the characters are really developed for such a short series ._.~ Honestly, though~ I'm glad it's short because you don't get like.. 10 episodes of straight battling or something..

>>; like in DBZ like.. 5 episodes of powering up to do a blast that takes yet another episode.

It's hard for some to estimate.

Pokemon would be in the top 10 for dubs.

The top ten of all time would be...

Sazae-san
Doraemon
Detective Conan
One Piece
Dragonball Z
Pokemon
Yuugiou
Ojamajo Doremi
Sailor Moon
Dragonball

Nah, Lupin's had three series, but none of those broke the 150 episode mark.

Longest Running Anime
1. Sazae-san - 1,794
2. Doraemon - 2,315 (hasn't been airing straight though, so I count it second)
3. Detective Conan - 454
4. One Piece - 273
5. Dragonball Z - 291
6. Pokemon - 276
7. Yuugiou - 224
8. Ojamajo Doremi - 214
9. Sailor Moon - 200
10. Dragonball - 153

Kura August 2nd, 2006 6:43 PM

Speaking of dubs~ the person who does the dub voices for Kira Yamato is coming to CNAnime next month~
And so's the guy who does Ultraman X3;
and then of course we get that DBZ guy that comes all the time~

o_o oh, and the Japanese guest star is the one who did some gundam series or other..

Soul Eater August 2nd, 2006 6:51 PM

That's really cool Kura. ^_^

So then that means Jack was wrong too! XD I cant even say that anime....and none the less I've never even heard of it. o_o

~ Kura ~ says:

~ Kura ~ says:

Blue says:
Holy crap
~ Kura ~ says:
o_o?
Blue says:
Imagawa O_O
~ Kura ~ says:

~ Kura ~ says:

Blue says:

~ Kura ~ says:

~ Kura ~ says:

Weren't like...seven of those episodes banned though?

MegaDitto August 2nd, 2006 7:07 PM

I'm not really sure on that. o.o;

Then that would drag it down to 148. >_>

I know that at least five were banned that had to do with the nazis and Germany, they were made, but never aired. Not sure about the others though.

MegaDitto August 2nd, 2006 7:16 PM

If 5. Then a 150. ^^

This reminds me of some Bugs Bunny cartoons that were banned for the same realated reason.

Kura August 2nd, 2006 7:28 PM

._. Do banned episodes like.. do they get put into the DVD volumes? o.o or are they banned from TV -AND- public view? o.o??

Drifblim August 2nd, 2006 7:31 PM

I think that for their time they'd be banned from TV, but it's just as much public view as there's no way of getting them back.

MegaDitto August 2nd, 2006 7:33 PM

I don't think they will put it on DVD, I think just banned from public view. It may be differen though.

OMG. Pee. Wee Playhouse is on Adult Swim.

o_o Yeah~ I guess so~
@@ Still it'd suck working so hard drawing and animating everything.. and then having all your hard work thrown away by it being banned ._.~
