Well, the Hindu people who bought my grandpas Subway wouldn't hire anyone under 15. Maybe you're just trying the wrong places? >.o

The hell is D'Angelos? XD

I need a job badly, too. xD I have to save up money for Christmas presents.
I'm thinking about applying at Pet Value or something. :3

So... how exactly DO you want to die, if not by cliff? XD

I thought his death was kind of funny. XD Lion King was the first movie I ever theater and I always remeber kids crying at Mufasa's death...it never bothered me.

Lots of ways, something flashy would be cool. This works too...

How 'bout being ripped limb from limb by hyenas? The movie's got that too.
Now that is a death I can go for.

XD; It's a grinder/sub/whatever place... most likely it only exists in the New England area. But... I'm too lazy to actually check that out. They make really, really, really good steak and cheese grinders though. <3

And on the topic of work... I work at a grocery store. As of tomorrow, I've been there a whole year~

Edit: Haha, death by hyena... that actually sounds kind of amusing. XD I saw The Lion King in theaters too... I don't think I cried the first time I saw it though. I'm pretty sure I didn't cry until I bought it on VHS and started watching it at home. I still think it's sad though. ;_;

Hindu people own our Quizznos. They talk to you really loudly when you come in.

Really? You can work at Blockbuster here if you're at least 16, I think. I think movies that smell like a litterbox would turn most people off a store. Unless they have some strange fetish with the small, I suppose.

Oh, can you actually understand what they're saying? Half the reason I quit was because I sure as hell couldn't.

It's sad...but it's also one of the first memories of me I have laughing. My dad said that a lot of parents looked at me all "WTF"ed out...wish I could remember that part. XD

From when I was little, I thought he was asleep, and he later left the Pride Land.
Of course, when everyone blamed Simba, I had no idea what was going on XD I thought that they should just go out and find Mufasa again XD

I'd look at you all "wtf"ed out too if I saw you laughing during that part as a child. XD But... I'm not one to talk, really. In the 7th grade we went on a field trip to see the movie Pearl Harbor. And when people were getting blown up and stuff... my friends and I started cracking up. Almost everyone else was in tears... but like, the five of us were laughing really, really hard. o.o

And for the record, you need to be 17 to work at a video store around here. *shrug*

Alex_ October 9th, 2006 5:58 PM

The people who work at the subway here are skinny, nasty rednecks. Feel lucky that you have Hindu people working at yours.

No, they have good english, but they scare the crap out of you when you walk in, if it was the internet, they'd only type in large caps:

"HELLO!? YOU WANT A SANDWICH!?"

EAT MOR CHIKIN

Have a summer career at Chic-Fil-A :3 If anyone knows what that is :D

It might be sexy to some people. It is 2006, after all.

Really, the people here are more like this:

"HELLO!? YOU WANT SANWICH, YEES!?"

or

"YOOR TOTALE COOMES TO TELVE TENTY FIV!!"

OMG... my pre-calc teacher talks JUST like that. It's quite annoying. But, somehow, I'm actually able to understand her. O_o;

Sounds about right. XD I got the fact that he died...but for some odd reason, I just found it funny. XD

...okay. Me laughing at Mufasa's death is okayish...because I was pretty young and everything. But...you were in the 7th grade? Ah, screw it, I've got the "wtf"ed out look on my face now. XD Then again, I laughed during the death scenes in Titanic...as did my brother and all his friends.

Annnnd...the working age here is like 15, I think.

Yeah... XD We were 13 at the time... and looking back on it, I feel really stupid for laughing. Especially considering what the movie is about and all. And that's really the only thing I remember about the movie... that we all laughed really hard. XD;

I've... never actually seen all of Titanic, so I can't say I laughed or cried during it. XD

And... my laptop's battery is going to die soon, so I shall have to take my leave from this conversation now~

13 was old enough for me to know that laughing at death [in public] probably isn't the best idea. Moreso when it's a war movie. XD

Titanic wasn't all that great, but when I went to see it, a lot of the people in the theater were crying...and we were like the only ones laughing. It was awkward. XD

Annnnd...see you then. XD

Mystic October 9th, 2006 6:18 PM

Titantic was one of the movies I just couldn't get into. I don't know why, I might would've been one that would have laughed at it. I don't know....

Chicken sandwiches are quite yummy. =3 I wish I had one right now....sadly, I dont. =<

Titanic is a good movie. <3 My mom owns that movie too.

Drifblim October 9th, 2006 6:25 PM

Well, any biographical or true event, you're going to know the ending to. You don't sit for the ending, but rather for the violence, sensuality, and cinematic effects strewn through.

Alex_ October 9th, 2006 6:26 PM

I had the video of The Lion Kind when I was younger.

I have no idea what the heck you just said. o_o

I hate drive-in theaters. XD One time we went to a drive-in theatre to see the perfect storm...and I fell asleep...when I woke up the movie was half over....XD

Alex: I have it on DVD! 8D

Soul Eater October 9th, 2006 6:33 PM

Well...if I could go without being teased back then...I wouldnt mind going back really. XD

Soul Eater October 9th, 2006 6:36 PM
