Gengar
Timid
Leftovers
Psychic,Shadow Ball,Sludge Bomb,Giga Drain

Modest
Chesto Berry
Surf,Ice Beam,Rest,Yawn

Snorlax
Adamant
Chesto Berry

Ouch. First off, Dragonite's base Atk is 134 while its base SAtk is only 100. It is one of the better physical sweepers in the game. However, since it is a horrible Modest Nature and you don't want to start over and breed on Dragon Dance, your moveset will be fine.

Machamp @ Leftovers
Adamant
- Cross Chop
- Rest
- Rock Slide
- Sleep Talk

Rest activates Guts, making a Sleep Talk Cross Chop or Rock Slide deal TONS of damage. Fear the champ.

Gengar @ Leftovers/Shell Bell
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Focus Punch
- Giga Drain/Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Don't give physical attacks to Gengar if it has a -Atk nature. Its Atk is low enough already. The above set is my preferred set and one I use in the BF. Ice Punch is preferred, but GD not only takes care of Swampert easily, but it recovers lost HP due to Sub.

Blastoise
Modest
Chesto Berry
Surf,Ice Beam,Rest,Yawn

It's a Blastoise.

Snorlax
Adamant
Chesto Berry
Return,Shadow Ball,Rest,Curse

A Curselax.

Skarmory
Impish
- Rest
- Spikes
- Substitute/Drill Peck
- Whirlwhind/Roar

My favorite Skarm set, but not too effective against the crappy AI. DP/Roar is an alternate to Sub/WW.

(skarmory is an exeption to the stricly kanto thing)

Rules
1.no side tracking(plz)
2.Post own teams if u wish (not really a rule)

*phew* well what do you think?

Not too bad.

Thanks that helped but only one thing i need a toxishuffler so this is gonna be my skarm set

Skarmory
Rest/Substitute
Spikes
Toxic
Roar/Whirlwind

Again thanks Machamp and Gengar's new sets will be useful and i got from another good player that the elemental dragonite is what he uses and it's not that bad (i wanted 2 use it as a physical sweeper but i thought it would be benefitable to the team).

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Punch
-Substitute

or:

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
-Seismic Toss
-Thunderbolt
-Substitute
-Focus Punch

---------------------

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
-Curse
-Double-Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Sleep Talk Curselax.

shanecdavis October 1st, 2006 6:48 PM

Don't use Stalker Curselax. That only works against noobs with teams full of Legis. Go with standard Curselax or standard Stalkerlax.

Physical Dragonite is still the best and better than the Elemental or the mixed sets above. It is worth breeding Dragon Dance on it and taking advantage of its huge Atk.

ok i took all the statements into mind and i think for an elemental sweeper i'll have to get rid of machamp and, get a dd (dragon dance) dragonite any suggestions on elemental sweepers?

It's Just Fufu October 2nd, 2006 3:47 AM

Well, since you don't have LG, and since it is a "strictly Kanto" thing, meaning you can't breed, then no. If you could breed, I would suggest Alakazam

Timid
252 SAtk, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Calm Mind
Recover
Thunderpunch
Psychic

Pokemon Team

Man to be honest, you team is perfect. There is just one little flaw, i think that you must remove Snorlax and add Tyranitar in its place.

TYRANITAR
Soft Sand
1) Earthquake
2) Crunch
3) Focus Punch
4) Fire Blast

Either this or if you are not satisfied with this, try adding Metagross. It is a bit hard to raise but its definately worth it.

Metagross
Soft Sand
1) Earthquake
2) Phsycic
3) Body Slam
4) Meteor Smash (I think thats what its called, dont exactly remember.)

Why soft sand? also you can't find metagross in Kanto.

Change *might* to WON'T. Snorlax is the best non-uber Poke in the game.

Maybe trade? I think you need the Ruby and Sapphire stones on Firered.

Lord Mike October 4th, 2006 4:23 AM

Or, of course, CBGross is an option.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Explosion

Hope that might help.

And Sesimic Toss on Dragonite is a HUGE no-no. Use either Aerial Ace or Ice Beam.
