wat to teach sceptile?
hey guys if u had a sceptile wat would be the best moves for it??
|
...since this is your first post and you type like you're being attacked by a lemur with rabies, I'll let it slide and answer your question. But for pete's sake, please look at the stickies next time to avoid making yourself look like an imbecile.
For an in-game Sceptile, this is a pretty good moveset: Leaf Blade Quick Attack -- -- The other two moves can be whatever. However, Leaf Blade and Quick Attack will be useful; Leaf Blade is your power move, and Quick Attack is good for getting in that last hit when the situation gets desperate or your luck isn't too good. Never use Quick Attack on a Pokemon intended for tournaments, though, because you'll be wasting a move slot. |
My Sceptile knows: Leaf Blade, Giga Drain, Crunch(egg move) and Aerial Ace @ Sharp Beak. Or you could also sub out Giga drain for an elemental Punch(thunder) or another Move like leech seed or substitute.

Sceptile @ Leftovers
Modest Nature -Leaf Blade -Thunderpunch -Substitute -Dragon Claw |
I don't know for sure if it goes there, but a Sceptile moveset would be made -- seeing as that appears to be what you're asking for? -- for you there, so... moved to movesets forum, sorry, AB, if I've done the wrong thing... ^_^;;; ♥

Sceptile @ Leftovers - Leaf Blade - Leech Seed - Substitute - Thunderpunch Sadly, like Blaziken, Sceptile isn't a great in-game Poke until you beat the E4 and have access to the Move Tutors in the Battle Frontier. Not to mention that Leech Seed is an Egg move. But, if you get this moveset, Sceptile can be quite formadible. LB is a great STAB move. LS, Substitute, and Leftovers make Sceptile one helluva staller. Between LS and Lefties, Sub is practically free, with LB and Thunderpunch able to provide consistent damage. If you don't want to breed or don't have Emerald, use Swampert or Ludicolo instead. |
