Sleeping Milotic?

Just curiouse if a Milotic useing Rest and Sleep Talk with Marvel Scale is a viable tactic. Seems like a waist since Milotic's Defence is already decient enough and Calm Mind would pretty much negate special damage and Left Overs would outheal non-toxic DOT.

Surf
Hypnosis
Calm Mind
Recover

I suppose this is the best option for a Milotic. There's a few kinks in the armor, the biggest relying on only 1 kind of attack, but this setup negates weaknesses and that one attack hits multiple enimies. With Speed training Milotic has a fairly good chance of getting off a first strike Hypnosis against most competitors. Another use for Hypnosis being a first strike attack would be in the instance the oponent tries to switch out to something that would be effective against a Milotic.

I think you are getting confused. Milotic's base Def is only 79, while its SDef is 130 (only Shuckle, Mantine, and Blissey are higher among non-Legis). Stalking is not a waste, Calm Mind is. Stalking increases its Def by 1.5, making it strong against both physical and special attacks, and still allows it to attack. If you don't like that set (which is easily the best), then go with:

- Hypnosis
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf

Calm Mind is just, wrong.

Especially true since Milotic can't learn Calm Mind, wouldn't you say? Also, another thing that makes Stalker Milo superior is the fact that it's Toxic-proof (Whereas regular Milo will have to switch out before the poison damage hits 50%). I'd argue against all the wrongs in the post in-depth, but since Shane pretty much summed it up, I'll just leave it at that.

LoL, now I'm getting my PM team confused. Had mistaken Suicunes abilities for Milotic. Just ignore this post. :embarrass
