Thank you Kyoki! *hugs!* ^^
Next time I shall try and do some WIP pics (I plan to make a little movie out of it, blending each WIP pic into another!) Should be a fun little project :D

It's far too long a process to do a decent tutorial for, so I hope this will help everyone. :)

Credit goes to Lívio Soares for permission to use his awesome photo! :D

That parrot is awesome! I have always liked parrots (talk about coincidence) and the parrot has a really realistic feel to it. The eye somehow doesn't look as realistic as the rest of the picture, but I still love it! Keep it up, FG ^_^

wakachamo April 14th, 2006 8:27 AM

We understand that you haven't had much time, right people? XD Just take your time, FG!

Oh... my....God. o.o

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! ZOMG! I'M HAVING A FREAKING SPASM BY JUST LOOKING AT THIS! IT LOOKS LIKE A PHOTO! THE BEAK AND THE EYE IS LIKE THE SAME! OMGOMG!!!11 </spasm>

*ahem* Sorry XD

But yeah, I went to the Portuguese site, and it looks just the same!! And it's amazing that you managed to do your own pose with that picture!

You keep surprising me until I faint, that's right XD.

Keep it up! ^^

Forest Grovyle April 14th, 2006 8:52 AM

I'm glad you are happy FG.I realy enjoy your work. @[email protected]

Pokedragonfire April 14th, 2006 9:50 AM

The detail is amazing! The colors are very bright. You have so much patience. I wish I could do that. If you have the time, maybe you could make us a tutorial. I would love to learn how to oekaki like that!

I'd buy a print of it if you offered them! (And if I had paypal and was over 18. Hehe...)

Forest Grovyle April 14th, 2006 12:08 PM

If you're interested I made a little video showing some WIP shots :) It's not very good resolution and it's a bit naff, but PM me and I shall give you the link to it! (I don't want to put the link here because of bandwidth limits, so it's on a request-only basis). ^^

Thanks so much for your awesome comments everyone! *glomp!*

QuickDude April 15th, 2006 11:07 PM

*sigh..

You leet art1stz and your tablets...

It looks too much like a photo. I am skeptical.

so uh, what is it you are doing? are you taking a photo and enhancing it? How about a before and after shot? What method do you use to generate those images?
