;)

These are really good. How exactly do you critique people that are better than you?

EDIT: Just found out that you use a mouse. Is that even possible? If I use a mouse, I come out with squiggles. Really nasty, blocky squiggles. Do you hold it with your fingertips so that the rest of your hand isn't touching the mousepad and treat it like a pen? Or do you simply zoom in to about 800% and lay down one pixel at a time?

Forest Grovyle November 3rd, 2007 4:27 AM

The mouse I use is a Labtec Optical mouse, it's rubbish and you can probably buy it anywhere XDD

As for how I do it, yes, I work at very zoomed percentages! :) It's very hard to do freehand mouse-art at full-scale.

*o* Oooooh soooo cute !!! Cute pictures **
You draw very nice ! =D

txteclipse November 3rd, 2007 7:52 PM

Geeze, it takes me days to edit my already fully-drawn images with zoom. How long does it take to draw the whole thing like that?

Forest Grovyle November 4th, 2007 1:51 AM

Depends which one you're talking about :) For example, this one, which I finished not long ago:
http://yayster.deviantart.com/art/Realism-Poker-Night-68388394

Took two whole weeks XD

Thanks Jake! Yeah, it's impossible to get rid of all "oekakiness". XD Best thing to do is to look at a distance. :D

The Wave November 4th, 2007 7:06 AM

wow good job Forest Grovyle! I've seen very much drawn pictures in my live, but this is the best I've ever seen! they look so real, first I though you just copy&pasted them, but when I readed the whole post and looked closely, I saw that you drawed them. I never excepted someone with this talent!
