Yes, I did. I was wondering if anyone would notice. it was the same beach too. :P

I am so happy. The temperatures around here are staying about the same everyday. No more "below zero" or other temps. It's in the 50's now. In a month it'll be 60-70's, and then 80's from there. :P Sometimes it gets into the 90's though, and you feel like your melting...

Hello LM... sounds like you had fun today.

Anyways... I don't know why my teacher would cry. It was weird. She would just burst into tears. It wasn't like we were 5 or something... it was 6th grade so we would have been 11-12 years old. She was really nice... just too nice! It was just weird!

The weather here has started to get constant too. It's been in the upper 60s I think. Eventually I'll be able to wear shorts again. Key word being eventually! But then it'll start getting too hot... and humid. Humidity here is awful though. At leat it's getting more like spring now...

Well, was that teacher nice enough to give you a perfect grade? :P

The temperature dropped this week compared to last week. I'm getting cold here though. Maybe the heater isn't on.

Looks like this threadhas finally breached the 1000 mark...um...boo ya?

*dies*

*~Ashley~* May 6th, 2004 6:25 PM

Wow.. it did reach over 1000 posts. I didn't even notice that...

I suppose I got a good grade in that class. It was 6th grade so... 4 years ago. I don't really remember much about it. It was before I had ever gotten an F before so I'd say I got a good grade in that class. But I don't think she'd like anyone to do poorly... she'd probably cry...

It does seem colder this week than last week... but not too bad. As long as it doesn't snow... even though it's May in New England you never can tell...

It was over 10,000 posts in the old DCC thread, so this is nothing. :P I made the 10,001 post there. ^_^ MoonLight made no. 10,000.

Right now I'm in a chat that latioscatcher invited me into. He invited Dizzy and some others too. Only latioscatcher, Dizzy, and I are talking though.

I'm playing Ruby right now. I'm at Southern Island. I go there a lot. I bet you guys are wondering how. :P

John Denver May 6th, 2004 6:39 PM

An "F" in a class? I don't see how that's possible...I mean, I barely turn in any homework and do crappy on quizzes and tests and I get at LEAST a "C+"...

Course, in writing and math it's inconcievable for me to get below an A...boo ya...

Well... not an F in a class. More like on a progress report. I didn't turn in a POW (problem of the week... not prisoner of war!) and it was worth a test grade... so a zero for a test grade caused me to have an F at progress reports. I brought it up to a B or something though... it was 7th grade so I don't remember. And then last year I got a D+ in ICP... but that class was just so hard. Most people got Ds and Cs in that class. And this year my D class is Civics/world history. But ony because I always get 60s on reading quizzes. But on report cards I usually don't get anything lower than a C... and most grades are As and Bs... the only time I got a D on a report card was last year. It seems every year except 8th grade I had one class that I had a bit of trouble with...

it's not that hard to get a F at all... I don't even need to try and I get one =/

And for the other English class in OSA by Miss Tuba (do not ever try to make a joke with her name and the musical instrument or else you won't be passing) doesn't hesitate to fail you at all... class average in her class is usually in the 50s or 60s, and every essay must have usually at least 4-5 below 50% (lowest in history- 5%)

*shivers*... and I just have to have her for next year... *sigh*

StarLightUmbreon May 6th, 2004 7:05 PM

Well the only timei ever got a F is in comp. I never tried to get it. I'm just realy bad at writeing. I can do any thing els well. I onlt got the F on my final though not my over all grade. That was a C. I'm so glade she graded on a curve.

Latios Master May 6th, 2004 7:09 PM

I'm really glad that I've never had an F before. Once I did come close though, when I got a D in Pre-Algebra during 7th grade. I think that was my only D too. I usually get A's and B's now. I've always made the Merit Roll in high school, and I made the Honor Roll once last year during 9th grade. :P 10th grade is a bit harder, and next year I will be in 11th grade. I turn 17 this year too. O_O

Miyu-chan May 6th, 2004 8:56 PM

I got a D in French. n_n;;;; Well, back in Taiwan, if you transformed the percentage into letter grades... I'll get mostly Fs. T-T

22sa May 6th, 2004 9:42 PM

lol, the last time I had French, in grade 6, I ended up with a F

But now... I like French, I think it's neat language, not that I plan to study it. ^_^

Kenshin1312 May 6th, 2004 11:37 PM

o_o

Hi 22sa. ^_^ You're on this forum too?

Anyway, I have a question. How come this place is so similar to Pokemon Elite 2000 Forum? I mean... Daily Chit Chat thread, Pairing Up and Romantic Talk thread, Member of the Month thread... A lot of things are like on PE2K... =/

Purin May 7th, 2004 5:52 AM

Not sure. Where's PE2K? *sweatdrops*
Uh nvm, I doubt you can post a link from here to there, the rules won't allow that.

Flaming Torchic May 7th, 2004 6:01 AM

Daily Chit-Chat is on many different forums, it is not a thread that is PE2K exclusive, believe it or not. =P And also, how is this place similar to PE2K? I don't see much resemblance.

Hehe, I assume that you're not fond of French as well? ^^; I currently have a 50%(D) in French also, but to be honest, I couldn't care if a passed with a 51%. I don't want to do French again, and I don't plan to. In Canada, it is mandatory to take French once in High School. >_< I really don't see the point of doing it, it's not like you're going to remember anything from that class after you pass it, it should be optional, because only people who are actually interested in it can get a good mark in it. It wouldn't even be tht bad if there wasn't so much translating to do. -_-; I don't have time to translate 200 words for a French essay, there are other classes (like Science) that need my attention more.

Purin May 7th, 2004 6:15 AM

From what I saw (Thanks FT!), the main difference in PC and PE2K is the number of specific forums they have.
I think that knowing more than one language is good, but I'm having problems with one of them(mother tongue =P). It's not an attitude problem (like hating Chinese), so I'll have to try harder to understand it.

Arcanine May 7th, 2004 8:34 AM

Well on the old PE2K the name of the forums and the thing that tells about that forum was just like PC's. But the new PE2K is different (I think).

Mr Cat Dog May 7th, 2004 8:49 AM

Yeah, the new PE2K's much different. It has many things that this place doesn't, and vice versa. The places are completely different in the amount of members to skins to everything.

I like French. In the UK, you have to take French and German until Year 10, and in the school I go to, you have to take at least one language in Years 10 and 11. I'm choosing French as I find it easier than German (eh... shoot me, I prefer it). In terms of grades, Year 9 seems to be a freak year where all you get is levels (from 1-8). Fortunately for me, French seems to be one of my strong points, as I'm predicted a Lv8 in my end of year test.

Sparks_67 May 7th, 2004 3:29 PM

okay but I would prefer french as well because its very challenging for me to learn another langue cause I know Spanish, German, and Japaneese.

Sakura and Espeon May 7th, 2004 3:42 PM

PE2K is a bit more strict.... in some ways. You have to have a x amount of words per post, etc.... which is tooo much. and they allow politics too...

Cherrim May 7th, 2004 4:01 PM

PE2K was merged with PC back near the end of 2002. The two forums split apart again, though. The two did have an influence on each other and some "traditions" are still maintained on both. (Such as MOTM, etc.) That's why the two are so similar in that sense. ^_^;; I can never stand PE2K, though... too big and cluttered. :\

Anyway... I love french. It's my second best subject, I believe. (I have to wait for my Japanese mark which I'm getting tomorrow - it should be something like 98, and french is 94%...) My french teacher is scary, though. She picks favourites and if you're not on her good side... well... I think she's biased in marking. XD *is on her good side* ;p It's mandatory to take french until grade 9 here, but I'm going to continue next year. ^_^; I want to be fluent in a LOT of different languages (hey, it's personal goal), so I plan to keep taking it throughout high school.

XD I only remembered that I was supposed to do April by pure chance - I accidentally clicked the wrong topic and looked in the MOTM discussion thread for March where people had posted the list. o_O;; I never usually checked in there because it would just be posts like "Yay! I've got (#) of votes! *dances*" or something like that. XD;
