o_o And I don't stay by myself for long either~ -3- I'm not a morning person either.. but I have to get up at 6:30 every day ._.;; Guh~~ |

I actually enjoy living away from home. I mean...for 18 years I've been dependent on my parents. I've been in the same area with the same friends. Getting away from home is really a breath of fresh air for me. It's forced me to become more responsible and to make new friends. |
o.o so many people here go to college, bah. And hey, i thought in college you'd get to sleep in a bit earlier at times, oh well, i guess not. >.>
Sicne i lvie across the street fromt my High School, if i wanted to, i could wake up at 8:30AM and still be in class on time ^.^ |

I see, do you usually only have 2 or 3 classes per day then?
|
Monday was my worst day. I had 4 classes, all back to back. Tuesday and Thursday I had two classes. Monday and Wednesday I had 3 classes.
|

I dunno. I'm a really quiet person, so being on my own really isn't my thing. I don't hate it, but I do like being able to both have the experience of living on campus and still being near to home. Different things work for different people though... Quote:
Oh, and even though my classes started late like that, I was still done by 3:15 everyday~ |

And uhh...sheesh. You really aren't a morning person, are you?! Haha...and I thought I was bad. =D |
o.o i wonder what time schedule i'll get when I go to Uni. =(
And Ashley, try Tea, its more, calming, and yet, can taste good (as long as you put some sugar in it :D). I like both tea and coffee, i drink tea more often, because it is calming n stuff, but when i have coffee im like WHICHABOMBWA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <---say as one word ^.^ lolz Yes, i get all like, energized, even if i was dead-asleep... XD lol |

And no, not at all. I wasn't kidding when I said I wasn't a morning person. XD; That 8am lab this semester should be fun... x_x Quote:

Spanish was quite easy for me as well last semester. I was much more advanced than the majority of speakers in my class. I didn't really have to study at all, and the lowest I ever got on a test was a B. I guess having a sister that is fluent, and a father who is almost fluent helps with that. I had a Brasilian exchange student live with me for a year as well. Of course...Brasilians speak Portuguese, not Spanish, but it's a very similar language. So yeah...I can speak a little bit of Spanish and Portuguese. Nowhere near fluent in either, though. XD |

Ah, cool. Spanish is easy for me for similar reasons as well. I've lived with my Italian-speaking grandmother since I was seven, so I've grown up hearing that. Italian has pretty much the same structure as Spanish and the languages themselves are really close. And when I was 10-12 years old, I took Italian classes. Because of that, going into Spanish wasn't difficult at all. I'm nowhere near fluent either. At least, not when I have to speak it on the spot. I'm much better at written Spanish than I am at holding a conversation in it. |
Quote:
OMG. Your school has "Thirsty Thursdays" as well?! Maybe that's a national thing in US colleges... XD Yes, I'm sure that would make it quite easier. I think if you grow up in any kind of bilingual atmosphere, it tends to make learning a new language easier. I'd actually have to say it's easier for me to speak Spanish than write it. A little weird, I suppose, considering I could possibly be a professional writer if I stick with my Journalism major. English writing has always come rather easy to me. I'd rather go in the direction of a Communications related field though. My school's Journalism major is basically what most colleges refer to as Communications, so yeah... XD |

I hate procrastination. I'd do anything to avoid it XD. And I have never done an all-nighter. At least I don't think so... Uncounting that time in camp when it rained and I had to keep the water outta my tent.
Oh, about the bilingual thing? Heh... That's not the case with me. My mom can speak German, Spanish, Philipino, English and Malaysian and I only know English while I've been exposed to a Thai, Japanese and Chinese atmosphere. Gosh.... Hey, do I see Matt here? I got exactly the same case with coffee as drummershuff except that it's hot and keeps me up only because of that. (Mornings are always cold here so if I have coffee for breakfast, hot coffee mind you, I wake up). I like coffee anyways, and tea is nice too. Sometimes stuff ends up in the bottom of the cup though and it tastes disgusting... |
I like Coffee/Tea/hot chocolate and all that stuff, I drink Tea the most out of the three though, don't know why I like Tea so much...
I drink water most of the time too or 100% pure Orange juice, I don't really like any other fruit juices; I hate the fruit juice in those bottles where you have to pour in a little bit in a cup and dilute it >.< Yeugh, I hate hot chocolate when there are different flavours in them, like toffee hot chocolate, how the heck can it be hot Chocolate when it tastes like Toffee? Disgusting toffee at that D: I hate the smell and the taste is even worse. My mum is making me a cup of tea XD What a coincidence. |
Quote:
And if you're talking to me then, yes, I'm Matt. But I don't think we know each other...or are you someone that's had a name change? I'm also not a morning person, so having a cup of coffee will make me more alert, but it won't actually wake me up. I don't really care if coffee is hot or cold. I can drink both, but I hate it being warm. It tastes just yuck. Quote:
I don't drink as much as water as I should, but like I said before, I do drink a lot of orange juice so I guess that kind makes up for it. But still, I should drink more water and less coffee. The fruit juices I don't like are grapefruit, and I'm not too fond of apple juice, even though I will drink it if nothing else is there. |
If I go to bed at like 4am (I haven't done that since the summer holidays XD) I end up sleeping through most of the day and wake up at 2-3pm or something like that.
The last time I stayed in a tent was when I went on a Karate trip with some people that were Orange belts and/or higher. I think I was Orange at the time... (I stopped Karate when I was Blue belt XD) We basically trained a few hours a day while on the trip (the trip lasted for a week =P) and we just got to do anything other than that. I remember when I was trying to cook a marshmellow and it ended up burning =[ I always have Tea in the morning when I wake up for school, my parents don't let me drink coffee often, upmost they let me have about 1 cup of coffee a week; it's not that bad, but I don't think I could drink Coffee regularly though D: I always drink water if I don't have Tea, as soon as I get home I head for the fridge to get one of the bottles of water XD I bring two bottles of water with me when I go to school and whenever I'm going around a friends house I bring another bottle of water =P I'm a water freak really. As for coke, I don't drink as much of it as I used to, most of the time when I do have coke I have to have ice with it; to me it tastes weird and dull without any ice D; I prefer a can of coke rather than a litre bottle of coke, canned coke tastes better and cooler =D The drink I hate most though is Milk, yeah, I used to drink milk when I was a baby but if I drink it now, it gives me a weird feeling in my stomach ;o; whenever I see someone drink milk on it's own in the mornings I always have to ask them "How could you drink milk on its own?" It's become a habit XD I like Cornflakes, Milk and sugar together. But if it's with anything else (With the exception of tea and coffee XD) I cannot have it. My dad is my alarm clock XD He always wakes me up in the mornings for school if I end up ignoring my actual alarm clock =P I don't see how he goes to bed at 11pm or something and wake up without any alarm at 5am for work O_o sometimes he does sleep in though XD Once that happened and I ended up staying home from school because we all woke up at 10am or something like that =P |
Now that school has started again, and that I've got a job on Saturday, the only night I can stay up late is a Saturday night. So I'll usually got to sleep at about 2 or 3am, and wake up about about 11 on the Sunday. During the holidays I'll probably be staying awake until about 1 possibly 2am.
OMG, marshmallows! I love them so much. Thinking about it, I haven't had one of them for a number of years as well. I should bug my mum to get me some one of these days. XD When I wake up on a school day I have a drink of orange juice. I don't have coffee until I come back from school, and it's usually in the evening at 8pm or something. I think I have at least one coffee every day though, which isn't that healthy, but meh. How can the first thing you do be want a drink? Straight after school I don't want anything to drink or eat and I'll do homework or go outside or something. I don't think "must have a driiiink!!". XD I take a bottle of water to school each day and I'll only drink about half of it which sucks. Like you, I drink a lot less coke than I used to. And my favourite fizzy drink at the moment would be fanta; if I'm going out for dinner I'll probably order a drink of fanta. And I prefer a can or something rather than a bottle...I don't know if it really tastes much different. Colder, maybe, but not a real different in taste. Heh, you're like my mum and dad there. They hate milk. I, however, think it's nice. I often used to have a glass, but now I'll only have it in a hot drink. I could drink a glass if someone gave me some though, I don't think it's horrible. Oh, and if I have breakfast (which isn't often), and it's cereal, I'll have cold milk on top. And sugar? Eww, how can you want to add MORE sugar to cereal? There's usually enough on everything you buy nowadays to stop you wanting to add more to it. My mum is my alarm clock. Lately I've been using my mobile as an alarm, but I'll often put it on snooze and another hour will have gone by before I wake up...so it's not a good thing to just rely on it. If I've got to get up really early, like work, I'll ask my mum to wake me up a a decent time. Although, I've been waking up by myself for work for the last few weeks, even before my mum. I remember once my mum woke me up at about 9am and said "we're late for school! We're late!". We both quickly got ready, and me being young at the time, I didn't question her judgment. We found out after we've got ready that it was a Sunday...how annoying. XD EDIT: I killed the DCC. ;_; |
O:
Am I...actually seeing...PARAGRAPHS?!?! *collapses* Omg...this is like, a dream @[email protected] If only CK-sama was here...T_T I wake up at around 8:30 everyday in the morning to take my dog out, though, if I didn't have to do that, I'd wake up at around 9:30...which would make me lazy and not want to get out of bed. But I believe I shouldn't because every day I have to wake up at 5:00 for school and catch the bus >: My parents want to to drive, but seriously, why would I be so rushed to drive in one of the top three states for the worst road rage? No thanks, I'll take the bus mine you =.=; Pretzels and carrots are my addictive afterschool snacks :3 It's either that or something that my freshman pet apprentice didn't eat at lunch and gives me~ My family has the worst snacks, but then again, if I went home and ate cookies and cake everyday, I'd be fat. I don't want to be fat D: Yay addictive health stuffz :3 |
...wait. You have to wake up at 5am to get ready for school? O_o Damn, I'd never be able to manage that every day. I can barely manage 7:30am for a school day and 5:45am on a Saturday. When I used to catch the bus I'd have to get up at 7, and be at the bus stop for 7:50. Luckily my mum usually takes me to school, as it's on her way to work. But I get to school really early because she has to be at work for 8:30. I guess it's okay...although sometimes I prefer catching the bus.
Carrots are yummy. When I went to primary school one of my friends there used to have some red pepper and a carrot for lunch most days and he'd share it with me. I don't really eat a lot of healthy snacks, but I don't really eat a lot of unhealthy snacks either, and I'm not fat. I've actually been losing weight, which is good. And, OMG, yes, you did see paragraphs!! :O |
I usually wake up at 8 on school days.
Yet im still tired when I wake up. |
I love pretzels XD I have them quite often, in the kitchen cupboard at the moment in my house are a few packets of Plain rich tea biscuits, some wafer thingies with really nice marshmellows in them and some other food XD All I've ate today is a bit of toast, some yogurt thing and an apple =P Mind you, I never really each much during the day D: I drink more than I eat... I think XD
Oh, and Matt, I always have a drink as soon as I step foot in my house after school XD I've done that for a few years now, can't help it :> Even though I would've drank both of my bottles of water at school I would feel as though I hadn't drank anything that day when I get back home XD Yeah I do wake up at 5am, I pack my school books in my bag, get dressed, have breakfast etc... and if I have any time after I've done all the important stuff I do whatever, like... post on some forums for half an hour or so =P My school starts at 8:25am and I only live like 5-10 minutes at most away from my school so I usually leave my house for school at 8:15am or earlier =P I think I'm too skinny, seeing as most of my friends always question me "Why are you so thin?" I can't really answer that can I? =/ The thing is, I get full up from food really quickly and I have high metabolism XD One of my new years resolutions is to actually gain a little bit of weight =D I was actually quite freaked out that when I weighed myself about a week after Christmas I actually lost weight O_O; Carrots are awesome =D I don't like eating cooked carrots though, they taste weird XD The crunchiness of fresh carrots rule =D! |
I have no idea what we've got in the kitchen cupboard. I don't really look. Today...I've eaten nothing. I suppose that could be because of the current family situation, but still, I don't really eat a lot at home. And I drink more than I eat. Today I've had three glasses of orange juice, two coffees and some water. :x
How can you want to drink straight away though? Don't you like, drink at school or anything? Because with me, I have some water during lessons at school, so I'm not thirty at all when I come home. 5am?! You're insane, both of you. XD I get all my stuff ready for school before I go to sleep the next day, so I guess that's why I don't need to wake up that early. I never come online in the morning apart from on a Saturday when I nip on before leaving for work. I just...hate the mornings so at 7:30 I'm in no mood to talk to people or post. I think my school starts at 8:45, but I'm there at around 8:10...the one thing I don't like about getting dropped in by my mother. <<; I'm not skinny, I'm about average weight for my age and height. I'm still wanting to lose more though, and I guess I'm slowly doing that. Heh, I lost weight over Christmas as well. I didn't get as much as chocolate, and the stuff I did get I shared with my cousins and stuff. XD |
