The Manga Creation Support Club!!
It's back for a second round!!
Anyone want to be a future manga artist out there? Have some artwork of an OC you would like to show...or maybe a doujinshi that you have drawn. Well, you are welcome here!! =^__^= Anime and Manga is becoming increasingly popular in it's wide variety of genre. The diffrent styles of drawing also allure the fans. So why wait for some years to pass before you can make it? Why not just start now? If you want, you can join to be an artist, a writer, or a fan. =D Good luck everyone!! -kimi_catdemon |
=D
I'll join! Yaay! Maybe this club can last a little longer than the old one. ^____^ |
Remember me!?
Yup, Crystal Clair's back, with sooo many new ideas.... not to mention a 3 volume manga already drawn! I'd be glad to post the story and some of the scans later. It's called "The Joys of Summer" However, I'm on a little break from it, focusing on mini-manga stories that would at the most last only one volume. It's fun experimenting with different types of stories. |
Welcome back!
Cool! =D Mini-stories are fun to draw. I've made one mini-manga before, only one volume long, and I'm planning to make another one when I'm done with my current series. : ) |
I'm working on a PT doujinshi on my own, I'm in the comic book club at school and I'm looking at starting an original manga.
maybe with my own charcters from Fanfictions maybe...that would be easier...*sucks when it comes to thinking about guy characters* |
My school doesn't have a comic book club. That's cool. 0.0
Really? As in you're not very good at drawing them, or what? |
It's just making them realistic like (belivable characters and not seriously bipolar and changes their looks every panel...so pretty much everything about them..=< )
Right now in CBC we are working with Marvel and DC like comics, but my characters are too anime like, but my powers of drawing backgrounds saved me...^_^; |
Oh..Okay. I think I get it. 0.0
You're good with backgrounds? ..I'm so-so at them, I guess. Atleast I try to draw them. |
I will join this seems lieka pretty cool club idea.
|
Welcome! =D
I agree. : ) |
I am a bit of a writer, so I think I can contribute as much as I can.
|
Cool. I used to write stories, but now I make manga. XD
Oh! I drew a piccy last night and learned how to scan! ^_^ When I colored it, I messed up with my eraser on her face, but here it is, anyway. : ) Her name is Akina, and she's the main character in my latest manga I'm working on. Please tell me what you think! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b297/redb/scan0001.jpg?t=1169170243 |
I really like it although, the head it is a bit big. Its really nice otherwise. I say 9.6/10.
|
hee, I thought so too. ^^
When I was done coloring it, I just then realized I made the head too big. I didn't want to draw another piccy, so I went ahead and scanned it anyway. XD |
I'd like to join the club again^^ Also, nice picture Chi.
|
Welcome back Takara! ^_^
Thanks. I'll be posting a new one here soon. : ) |
Thank you^^ well I'll get some of my drawing's done and then over at my friend's house so I can actually use a scanner!
|
Yaay! I was about to draw a piccy a few minutes ago since I was done drawing in my comic for the day, but then I decided to get on here. XD
|
I can'y wait to see the new pic.^^
|
I prefer the scanner coloring rather than normal coloring....
For inking, I think technical pens work best...what do you think? Pen nibs or tech. pens? |
I use just about any pen I can for inking uses, though I did just get ink and a caligraphy pen-so I'll try those for different textures once I learn how to use them. I just tried with normal ballpoint pens during study hall, they're easy but can smear easily ;;.
|
That's why I <3 tech. pens. They're just like ball point only:
1. they come in diffrent sizes 2. they dry faster so they are easier to erase outlines with. 3. they don't smear and if you get the right kind, the don't fade. |
O___O I need to get me some of those then don't I? Do they sell them at normal stores because I could get some later on this week then hopefully. I love inking my work so if there's a nicer kind of pen, that's great =D
|
they sell them at normal ART stores if that's what you mean...If you are forutant to find them in a store like wal mart or something, I use Pigma Micron Made by Sakura.
They're really good... http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i129/Princesstutufile/Neko.png colored with CG http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i129/Princesstutufile/daisy2.png It's neko and Daisy from my princess tutu fanfic Once upon a time again just a basic color outline..O_O And then here's a picture of...you guessed it...ME!! (kimicatdemon, my oh so used screen name.) so now you no longer need to ponder what I look like...XD http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i129/Princesstutufile/kimi.png |
Those are really cool, I have to say.
