Well since blue is my favourite colour, I'm gonna go with Blue Kirby <3 But since the Kirby don't have much personality...I guess I can't judge them on their personality..just their looks. =D |
Quote:
XD There's been like 6 or 7 games I think. Quote:
Yep, of course XD, I thought you'd might. Which colour Kirby do you like best? The original pink Kirby!! Because I'm always playing as the pink Kirby in the games and Kirby in the anime is so awesome and kawaii too~ |
May I join the club I like kirby more? so I will answer the first topic:
Which colour Kirby do you like best? I like the pink and Blue kirby the best. |

Can I join?
I have only the N64 game and too bad I haven't seen the anime yet(Kirby is not that popular here in Holland). Kirby's my favorite character from Super Smash Bros since the beginning. Quote:
Blue, it's my favorite color. But I like white too, reminds me of a ghost. |
I like Green the best since its my fave color, i also like white too, very retro looking =)
|
Quote:
Is there a white kirby?? There isnt in teh games I played... |

|
Ooh, the clubs been going well. XD
Hm, Pink is my favourite, the original and it's PINK! [<3] |
OMG!~ Alex, you made a club about Kirby!? You should've told me, and then I would've joined sooner! XD
Point is, I wishes to join. X3 |
Quote:
Welcomes!! |
Kool! Is the question still what color Kirby do you like best? If so, I shall answer.
I likes Blue! Why? Because anything blue is just awesome! XD Also because blue is kinda an icy color, and I'm just icy I guess. X3 |
Wootz ~ I'll join! I love those Kirby games, and Canvas Curse is good too, as I've told you before.
|
Quote:
Here's the next topic: Out of all the Kirby games you've played, what's been your favourite?? |
Oh thats a toughy!~ Like I said, I mostly play the older ones, but I really love the Treasure Hunting one. O.o Can't remember what its called, though. XD
|
Quote:
Quote:
As for me, it would be the game I'm currently playing, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. And I'm hoping to get Squeak Squad soon so that should be fun too! |

Out of all the Kirby games you've played, what's been your favourite??
Yeah..my favourite would be Amazing Mirror, with just damn good graphics like usual, also because you can be the different coloured Kirbies! <3 [I think..my memories are still hazy] Oh but what would come second is Kirby DreamLand 3 because of those cute lil partners you can have! Like that hamster! [forgot the name xD] |
Out of all the Kirby games you've played, what's been your favourite??
I haven't played any game of Kirby. |
Could I join also? I was a fan of Kirby a long time back when he was in the first Smash Bros.. I didn't have any of the other games but I played a lot of them on the GBA. But my favourite Kirby game of all is definitely Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It got delayed and its launch wasn't exactly spectacular, but damn was it a good game. And my favourite colour Kirby is probably pink. It's original and suits him the best. Anyway, if I'm accepted, my question is; What is your favourite power that Kirby can absorb? It can be from any game and can also be a compound power as well. Mine would probably be Crash from one of the GBA versions. It destroys all enemies on screen. :)
|
Quote:
That game sounded like so much fun. Riding a Hamster, I need to find that game sometime... Quote:
What is your favourite power that Kirby can absorb? Oooo... this is hard. But I'm stuck between Magic Kirby or Master Kirby which I achieved the other day in Amazing Mirror. Star Rod Kirby is also pretty cool. |
Just a few pics I found. They're all official art as well, guess that's why they're so awesome. :P
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h46/Phanima/061.jpg Burning Kirby http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h46/Phanima/101.jpg Thunder Kirby http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h46/Phanima/095.jpg Sleeping Kirby http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h46/Phanima/085.jpg Crash Kirby Crash is definitely my favourite. :) |
Tough question. Kirby gets some great powers in TCS and SSBM. Quote:
The hamster is called Rick btw. He's a trophy in SSBM. |
Quote:
|
Nice Pix!! Fear teh awesome Sleeping Kirby >:D
|
Yep, those Kirbys are pretty awesome.
http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q73/Argetla/5-3.jpg So cute. XD |

I use it on some forums and MSN as avatar. |
OMG....O.o, there isn't much to say about this but WTFBBQ!?!?! XD
|
Quote:
|
That picture was really funny. I was all 'WHAT THE HECK!!' XD Anyways, I think we could do with a new topic. I hope I'm not repeating anything...X3
Which Kirby type do you like better, Fire or Ice Kirby? |
I like Ice Kirby, freeze em' then kick em' around the place and they die XD Its more fun and i like Ice more than fire period =)
|
Which Kirby type do you like better, Fire or Ice Kirby?
Ice in the newer GBA games and Fire in the old SNES games. Ice in the new ones is cool looking and teh Fire in the SNES games has cool extra abilities! |
Quote:
They are just... cool. And this topic makes me wanna play Kirby 64 again ^^ |
Wow, I didn't think that everyone would agree that Ice kicks ass!~ Honestly, and I'm not just saying this because everyone else is, but I think ice is the awesomeness!
|
Quote:
|
I noticed that too, and it really bumbed me out...XD
|
Well it gave me a shock to see how powerful Fire was back in those games... I started playing Kirby with the GBA Nightmare in Dreamland version.
|
Yeah, the fire abilities have been underpowered in recent versions. But their effects still look cool though. I personally prefer fire Kirby over ice, mainly because when you combo two fire elements in the 64 version, Kirby turns into a pheonix! Uber hot!
|
Most of the fire abilities in Kirby 64 are kinda hard too control.
|
Quote:
Quote:
|
May I join?
umm. power eh? Tornado |

A pheonix? Awesome! Quote:

|
OMG O.o KIRBY SWALLOWED UP PHOENIX WRIGHT XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Great pic! Now if only we could see what he would look like with Solid Snake absorbed XD
|
OMG! That Kirby is sooo cool! (Its funny because I just barely read a really funny comic by a person on the DA. XD
|
A rendition of a Solid Snake Kirby I found on DA.
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h46/Phanima/114-1.jpg Also, I just started playing Kirby & The Mazing Mirror again, and I thought that the combination powers were introduced in this version first, but apparently it wasn't. Is the N64 version the only one with combination powers? Anyway, despite the lack of combo-ing in the game, I gotta say that Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is probably the greatest GBA Kirby game that I've played. The amount of powers you can use is crazy, and there's so many levels and sub-levels. It's huge. Anyway, since I'm a Crystal Shards buff, for those who have played it, what was your favourite combination power? My favourite would have to be the exploding ninja stars (Cutter and Bomb combined, I think). But the funniest one would have to be Solar Panel Kirby (Burning and Electric). He rubs his head with a sheet of glass that creates static and then bursts into flames! Hilarious! |
Cutter + bomb is a nice one to use. Ice + electric is funny (a fridge). I like to use the ice crystal (ice + ice).
|
Quote:
Umm... I dont know what's my favourite. I need to find that game and play it! |
Okay, So I got one picture of Kirby.
http://www.absoluteanime.com/kirby/cook_kirby.gif |
w00t! awesome chef Kirby!! Fear my evil Spinach of death >=)
|
Yay, cook Kirby. That is one of the awesome techniques in the game.
xD I thought that was a magnifying glass at first. |
Haha, Cook Kirby! Too bad it was only a one use effect. Although once you did use it...mega feast!
|
I havent tried it, but does Cook Kirby work with bosses?
|
I doubt it does, but I'm not too sure about mini bosses. I mean, being able to turn a boss into food? That'd be amazing.
|
Yeah, it would be amazing. I will definetly have to try it soon~
If I can survive the game being Cook Kirby up to the boss.... |
Quote:
Which version of Dreamland is that one btw? |
I think it's the one on GBA, before The Amazing Mirror isn't it? Oh, and welcome to the club Traces3Roms!
|
Yeah, the Nightmare in Dreamland for GBA came just before Amazing Mirror.
But I think there's two versions of Nightmare... one back on like the SNES I think... |
Didn't Nightmare in Dreamland have like three versions on the SNES and one version on the GBA. Because I think I remember Rick the Hamster and Kirby's other friends being in Nightmare in Dreamland 3 on SNES, so I'm assuming there was a 1 and 2 as well?
|
Bah, there's such a confusing amount of Kirby games, I remember the first one i got, Kirby: Star Stacker (Tetris look-alike) I have no idea when that came out. Squeak Squad is awesome though, I just got it today, I noticed something cool, they merged together Fire Kirby and Burning Kirby, so you can shoot fire, and you can also become a fireball when you tap the directional button twice, I almost hopped when i figured i could do that, YAY, Fire Kirby is over-powered once again XD
|
Quote:
Quote:
But I've noticed the merge of fire + burning too. (me played a little on DS emulator) Yup, Fire Kirby is just like the original SNES version which is very very good~ |
Hey sweeties! *Walks in excitedly.* x3 Can I join? =3 I love Kirby ever since I played one of his games on Game Boy. x3 I own almost all of them, and I even have some of the anime episodes. =3
|
I'm still looking for the anime o.o
|
It used to be on morning TV where I lived, but I only saw a few episodes, and I wasn't exactly a fan of Kirby that much either, so I didn't get to appreciate it until now. I'd like to see it, and I'm planning on downloading it from somewhere once my quota has returned (damn limit). But the games are always entertaining enough, so I just play them whenever I'm free. Zero Two rocks! One of the craziest bosses I've ever seen.

Right Back At Ya! was it's sub title I think. It was okay, but like the few that are based off games, it wasn't exactly a super duper show. It still had its quirks though, but I never did like those human/gnome characters. @
|
Meh, i never watched the anime at all really, Kirby is meant for a video game not a TV show is what I would say.
|

Can I join?
Kirbies are cute! |
^^ Welcomes to the club!!
Yup Kirbys are cute~ |
Kirby cool can i join and nice pic of the speady teatime from sqeak squad that game was fun cool cook kirby
|
Quote:
I havent got Squeak Squad yet, but hopefully this weekend I'll finally get it. |
easy game but fun comcos still in play
|
Kirby games are meant to be somewhat easy. The gameplay is basic, targeting mostly children and short as well. There needs to be a new Kirby game with harder AI and just needing more than simplistic button pressing to finish the game. Amazing Mirror had some forms of that, which the doors and puzzles instead of the usual 6-7ish worlds thing. But the enemies arent really too hard to defeat, especially when you can call upon your 3 Kirby friends for help~
|
this one is short colect 120 chest and you win
|
Umm... could you really say which one you're talking about. I'm assuming its Squeak Squad, but I cant tell just from that.
|
Yay!
I got the banner for this club. Please don't be rough on me,I'm a beginner... Thanks to people who provided pictures for me(not directly). Ok here it is. Choose the one you like more and put it in the front page!!! Version 1: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/1383/kirbyrg9.jpg Version 2: http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2712/kirbyclubeo9.jpg |
Awesome banners shikaNL. They look great!
|
ditto they are amazing dude
|
Quote:
Okay, I'll put them on the first post~ |
The font is the same...
Maybe you're talking about effects? |
Sorry I've been gone for forever...I've been grounded and such. So what's the current topic?

If you could make up your own Kirby ability, what would it be??? |
For me,shadow Kirby!
Yup,dunno if it's in the game. Don't think so |
Nah, it's not an ability in the game, but there is a Shadow Kirby of sorts, I saw him a few times in The Amazing Mirror.
In response to an ability that I could make up, it would probably be; Mecha-Kirby! He swallows up a Sentinel or something mechanical like that, and becomes covered in a suit of mechanised combat weaponry. His mega attack would be like a frenzy unleashing of all rockets, plasma guns, energy attacks and the like across the screen. Sweet... |
If you could make up your own Kirby ability, what would it be???
How about...Acid Kirby. 83 He spits out acid or something, I dunno. XD |
acid kirby would be cool for me it would be car kieby kirby turns into a car and runs over enimies

they hate kirby acording to those comics
|
The first one is weird, and the second comic is just blah!! Its random and well... mocking Canvas Curse, which I dont really like that much anyway xD
|
Never read the comics before. Watched the TV show once before. I thought they made Kirby seem a little...stupid. Sad.
|
Quote:
I agree with you. Kirby is dumbed down in the anime. Making him well.. a lot more, like a very small kid not understanding the way of life in the big world. |
Alex,where's the banner anyway...
|
Quote:
|
Yeah, poor Kirby. Not too bright. XD Maybe if he swallows a nerd he'll become super smart Kirby. XD
