Lol, my IQ is genius level :D

Ever take one of those IQ tests? Try this one, it's the "original" IQ test, not one of those fake ones you click on in the pop-up adds. You can look at the help page to view all the reasoning behind the test and why it supposedly works. I completed the test with genius marks (can't recall the number) in less than ten minutes! How did you do?

Idon`t really like IQ Tests because they don`t really prove anything. I might take it though..lol

Flygon trainer May 3rd, 2004 4:40 PM

I did it in exactly 3 minutes and recieved a score of 144

Blaine May 3rd, 2004 5:00 PM

I took the IQ quiz and recieved a 148. According to the maker I'm genius level... The last time I took a real IQ test for CLUE, a class that exceptionally gifted students attended during classes, was in like third grade or something and then I was above menta (genius) level... Hm... I still want to improve though. The test was interesting... I wonder how they came up with the scoring...

Timbjerr May 3rd, 2004 5:00 PM

I took that a long time ago, but I forgot my exact score...I remember it was around 150, and when I took it just now, I got 147 XD

Sparks_67 May 3rd, 2004 5:19 PM

I got a 146 witch puts me at the genuis level.

Frostweaver May 3rd, 2004 6:04 PM

IQ test is more accurate if you took the test and minus 35 out of your score... according to a study about IQ test, most IQ test has an uncertainty of 70 points... o.o;

Geometric-sama May 3rd, 2004 9:40 PM

Genius level is technically 150.

I did that test last year and got 185 o_O... If I take off the 35 points, that still leaves me at 150... o_O I didn't think I was that smart, I only skipped a few school years...

Latios Master May 3rd, 2004 10:07 PM

I just took it and I got 136. I took it when I was super tired and it was 1 AM though, lol. Otherwise it would of been higher. :P

Geometric-sama May 3rd, 2004 10:17 PM

XD Well, you can't really take it again XD. Because you know all the questions already.

Purin May 3rd, 2004 11:26 PM

I'll try it later. I did a IQ test online (not this one) and got a score of about 140 =P That one said that I'm a visual mathematician.

DarkMage31 May 4th, 2004 11:19 AM

I got in the 150 range. I was sorta distracted though and I forgot to stop the timer, so I think I did better...

They have TAG in my area, stands for Talented and Gifted. I belong for my writing, but I never considered myself a genius...

Geometric-sama May 4th, 2004 7:57 PM

XD I'm good at maths, but not much else XD

Junichi May 4th, 2004 8:08 PM

I took it once and I got about a 170.

Geometric-sama May 4th, 2004 10:58 PM

Apparently they put up your score so you think "wow, I am really smart" and then you buy their certificate XD

DarkMage31 May 5th, 2004 2:53 AM

Yeah, probably. When you pay, I bet that's when you get the real intelligence rating... whatever. It was fun.

Chairman Kaga May 5th, 2004 12:08 PM

I got a 157 on that test...but I can say for a fact that isn't an IQ test...it's absolutely fake. The questions were things I could have answered in the third grade.

Don't even get me started on standardized testing...I was (and I'm not trying to brag) high above everyone else in my grade long ago, but thanks to a standardized test, I wasn't allowed into the gifted/talented program, thus dooming me to an inferior education...the problem was that there was a rediculously short time limit on the entrance exam and the teacher forced me to fill in answers at random...I'll never forgive them for that. People got in that program on luck alone because of that...it's sickening, as are all IQ tests. One's intelligence CANNOT be based on a set of questions. IQ tests are for people who are arrogant and want to boost their pitiful egos...people who spit on you if you didn't go to Harvard and all that...

Ryoutarou May 5th, 2004 12:11 PM

My god if it's right i got a 220! That was so fake and easy stuff a real test is a lot longer and harder...

DarkMage31 May 5th, 2004 1:57 PM

I think Kaga is right (you don't mind if I call you that?). Standardized tests are not effective, if not unfair. I got into to the TAG program through my writing, which is good because I'm a good arguer and a good writer, so the subjectivity of the grading was sort of nullified because of my convincing perceptions and arguments. I think that's it anyway.

Still, the IQ tests are fun because you get to see how you got rated. lol! :D

Chairman Kaga May 5th, 2004 2:18 PM

Yeah, I go by Kaga here :P

With the writing thing, I actually had sort of the opposite effect one year when I was taking an off-year proficiency test...I was creative and eloquent and they failed me and never gave a reason why...I believe that the graders thought I was insane...the assignment was to write about a fictional journey you go on, and I wrote something about going to the alps and being ambushed by blood-drinking koalas...

...or maybe illiterate bums grade these things like the rumor goes o_O

Geometric-sama May 5th, 2004 7:51 PM

IQ doesn't really mean anything anyway. It's just your capacity for intelligence. You could have the world's highest IQ and be really stupid and naive. BTW, blue, if you got 220 then the test is *really* not accurate because IQs can't be measured above 200, that's where the scale stops.

Ryoutarou May 6th, 2004 9:49 AM

ya i no...but in some case's it can be put higer but that's with a diffrent type of iq.

Cherrim May 6th, 2004 12:27 PM

Eh... I got 147 on it. =\

Don't base ANYTHING off of IQ tests. They can be a very inaccurate way of judging someone's intelligence. For example, someone could be extremely intelligent, but maybe they clam up or aren't very good at tests. Or someone could be feeling really sick or tired while they took it. So a test like this, with so much pressure put on the time limit, can really throw someone off and the results won't be as high as they should be. Not only that, but this test wasn't very long. I don't think I've ever taken a real IQ test before, but I would suspect it would be much longer than that (I've been tested for giftedness, but I dunno if that was an actual IQ test... didn't seem like one).

PichuSecretBase May 6th, 2004 12:47 PM

I got 174 wow, I never get anything under 120 lol

DarkMage31 May 6th, 2004 3:19 PM

Blood drinking Koalas????? I don't blame the graders!!! I actually laughed out loud when I read that. I don't actually lol very much on the internet. No offense of course, I just thought it was a funny idea...

yeah, I agree. IQ tests are pretty much worthless. However, when comparing people against other people who took the same test, it's easy to tell the difference between those of high and those of lower intelligence. And the questions weren't based on prior knowledge- they were simple logical thinking problems that I felt tested my overal intelligence. The example I like the most was the question that asked if a glove will fit on your other hand if you turn it inside out. Unless you've either tried it or have excellent logical thinking problems, you're not going to get it right unless you guess 50-50, which is still measuring your guessing intelligence (multiple areas of intellignce).
