Ketchup vs. Mustard

Ketchup vs. Mustard

I love Ketchup alot more x.x

Castrainer May 5th, 2004 12:49 PM

Yawh! Me too... I prefer ketchup!

Ryoutarou May 5th, 2004 12:50 PM

Mustard...it can be used on a lot more dishe's and there are so many type's you can use them for maranaids and many other things (I'm looking at this from a cook's standpoint)

coco May 5th, 2004 12:50 PM

depens on what it's used on. for example: i like ketchup on my fries, but mustard on my hot dogs. but overall, i like ketchup more

Ketchup can be used in lots of dishes too...It can be combined with other things to make nice spicy sauces, glazes, etc... Sure mustard is good from a culinary standpoint...it goes well in specialty macaroni dishes, it can be mixed with honey or spices to manipulate the taste, and I hear it goes well on lamb. Both are good, but I'm a ketchup addict...I can even stand to drink it...who would have thought that a mix of tomato paste, vinegar, and onion powder could be so great? It goes on almost anything...I don't go a day without smothering my dinner in ketchup.

Purple Insanity May 5th, 2004 1:13 PM

;D Ketchup. It tastes a heck lot better, looks a lot better, and red is my second favorite color. lol.

Timbjerr May 5th, 2004 1:42 PM

ketchup definitely...I just don't like the taste of mustard (the aroma doesn't help much either...).

Cassie-chan May 5th, 2004 1:48 PM

Ketchup is better! I used to drink it when no one was looking...

Dizzy May 5th, 2004 3:34 PM

Mustard is way better than ketchup in my opinion, it comes in over 500 flavors and you'll never get sick of it. Ketchup is just...Red @[email protected]

Kayleigh May 5th, 2004 3:38 PM

I prefer ketchup. I only like mustard if I'm putting it on a hot dog. Other than that... Bleh. I really don't like eating either, considering that they both taste gross by themselves. x_x;

Junichi May 5th, 2004 3:43 PM

I like em both. [eats a hot dog with both on them]

Kairi May 5th, 2004 3:44 PM

Mustard is healthier I think, but I really don’t use either. I will use mustard on turkey sandwiches however. Ketchup maybe on hamburgers, but eh. @[email protected]

Latios Master May 5th, 2004 4:48 PM

I like eating ketchup a lot with fries, patty melts, hot daogs, cheeseburgers, ect. It tastes great! Sometimes I use too much. ^_^

I won't dare eat mustard. I think it has a terrible taste...

Dizzy May 5th, 2004 4:53 PM

American Mustard has a discusting taste I must admit -_-... WHY DONT THEY EXPOSE ASIAN MUSTARD TO AMERICA??

*~Ashley~* May 5th, 2004 5:09 PM

I do like both... but I use ketchup for more. I only use mustard on hotdogs. My sister loves ketchup though! She eats just plain ketchup sometimes. She also likes to eat ketchup sandwiches (meaning bread and ketchup) and she used to put ketcup on corn too... I don't do that stuff though...

Dizzy May 5th, 2004 5:14 PM

I'm a salt freak sounds like me!! Salt Sandwiches lol. If it's edible Salt it up!

Sparks_67 May 5th, 2004 5:35 PM

I love ketchup I put it on almost anything.

100marios May 5th, 2004 6:04 PM

Ketchup! Defenitely! Mustard is just too bitter for my liking. I don't mind a little, but I can't put too much. It's sort of like salt. Too much will just ruin it.

Dizzy May 5th, 2004 6:10 PM

I've asked them.
They said they haven't tried it.
Even worse, they didn't even know what mustard was. :P

Miyu-chan May 5th, 2004 6:56 PM

*shivers*
If it wasabi I'm never trying it. :P
One time, I took a bite in the middle. Boy it tasted like rotton fish. (err, not that I ever tried eating rotton fish XD)
It turned out to be Wasabi.
The good thing is that there are many kinds of sushi without Wasabi....thank god. :P
