The Pal Park?
Can anyone post how this works? I have both my Diamond game and my Fire Red game in my DS Lite and outside the Pal Park. I don't understand. The guy keeps on saying get six pokemon before you can eanter the catching contest. Please list how to start from my FR all the way to my Diamond game.
|
Start Diamond, when it comes up to the menu that says continue, new game, and options it will also say migrate from whatever game you have in. Select migrate and follow the instructions. Then go to the pal park and the man will let you in.
PS make sure you delete HM off any pokemon you intend to transfer to Diamond because it won't let if you don't. |

You do need the national dex in both games in order to migrate, thus making it more challenging to be able to migrate, rather than just migrating them at the very start of a game and restarting to get all the starters or something

I'm sure you don't need the National Dex on the GBA game. I mean, I transfered my Emerald Pokemon even though I didn't have the National Dex.
|
You definitely don't need it in Ruby or Sapphire at least—just be sure you have it in Diamond. You got it from Professor Oak?
|
Try getting ur National Dex in Fire red
and if that works COMPLAIN >.< |

Oh OK, sorry about that. I thought you said you didn't have it in Diamond. OK, then try and get the ND in FR by catching at least 60 Pokémon.

In FireRed you need to catch 60 Pokémon.

Yes, they have to be all different in order for this to work. Simply catching 60 Caterpies won't help, because your Pokédex needs to have 60 registered in there. That's how it works. =P
|
You do not need the national dex for any of the GBA games. I've tried. Make sure you've talked to the guy that lets you in to the area before you can migrate. Also check to see if your fire red is in all the way and such.

I can't, but why don't you just try again and see if the cartridge is put all the way through?

It's worth noting that the Pokemon you want to transfer need to be in the PC on the GBA. Also make sure the GBA game is saved in a Pokecenter, and that you've talked to everyone in the Pal Park before trying.
|
you need the national dex in pokemon pearl or diamond first then u can migrate. u don't needthe dex in gba games though
|
on the gba games u need to have 6 kinds of pokemon before you can migrate!!

hope that helps!! u can only migrate once a day well that's what people say but i migrated 2 times on emerald and the when i wanted to migrate again it said it has not passed a whole day yet!!

you put them in the pc then u can choose the ones to transfer and give them items to hold so they will have that item when u catch them too.
|
That's really strange that it isn't working. Are you positive that the GBA slot on your DS is working? Have you been playing FR or LG from with DS itself?

i did not get the natonal in my game but i still migrated them

i have leaf green and I transfered Pokemon from that without the national dex...
|
I think you just need to have saved the GBA game inside a Pokemon Center, as that is the case for uploading to Colosseum or XD.

Lol, all I can say is that hacked games most definitely won't work. You basically can't use that game to migrate to Pal Park.
|
A hacked GBA game. Well, that stinks. Especially If you got all sorts of good Pokemon in there.

I found that out now, because I saw other people owning Fire Red and their cartridge was red. Anyways I bought a brand new Pokemon Ruby game so it should work! =D thanks everyone.
