Trump Card

So it gets stronger the lower its PP is? Anyone know exactly how strong this move can get?

dugtrio's diglet June 19th, 2007 8:49 AM

sry... but i don't know wat move your talking about... if it's trump card or w/e... never heard of it

Rad_Riardos June 19th, 2007 8:51 AM

Never heard of it, unless it's a stat raising move.

Cema June 19th, 2007 8:54 AM

I was wondering about it as well, Eevee learns it and a few pokemon can have it bred upon them. I believe it works like rollout, but I am not sure. Probably 60-80-100-120-140.

a few is quite different than 1... only dunsparce learns it by breading... anyway... its a dumb move because its normal type... so don't bother with it

just because a move is only a single type does not make it stupid or dumb. sure, against a rock or steel its not much good, but against all others, it could be very powerful.

i never have normal type moves because they can never do 2x damage... thats all im sayin... n ur dumb

Legacy June 19th, 2007 9:05 AM

It has 190 base power when it has 1 PP left, and about 75 when you have 2-4, iirc.

dugtrio's diglet, I'm pretty sure we've all had enough of your witty yet incredibly irritating comments towards people. I'm giving you a 3rd warn, which means: enjoy your 2-weeks ban.

Dunsparce April 4th, 2008 6:13 AM

I'd use it on Charge Beam/Calm mind Dunsparce because it's its only Special STAB Move >.>;

Man, THey should've made Secret Power Special >.<;

Wow, it sounds like it would be quite good if you were to use Endure on the previous turn. Then maybe you could use recover for the third turn when your HP is 1 and you're fighting the trainer's second Pokemon.

Except on Ghost-Types, on which it would have no effect at all :>

Yeah, but they hit for normal-effectiveness on almost all types, whereas many attacks are resisted by a number of types. Not to mention the STAB boost gained by normal types.

Er, are you thinking about Reversal?

No, what I meant was when your HP is low, use recover and gain it back on the next turn. Only problem is that would leave you vulnerable for another attack, and seeing as recover only restores 50% HP, it could mean the end for that Pokemon. But I guess you could keep using Trump Card or, as you said, Reversal. That would work great too.

Mitchman April 4th, 2008 10:54 AM

Wow this is sad everyone who posted here didn't report dunsparce i am ashamed *reports*
