Main Team - EV Help

Ok, I only want help with my EVs, only the EVs! I am pretty sure I screwed up my main teams EVs, because I used them throught the game meaning I fought everthing with them giving un-needed EVs to most of them. I have already acquired the Effort Ribbon on all of them so they have maxed their EVs, but I will use those berries that decrease certain EVs by 10. After using the right berries I will re-train them, EV wise. I was thinking distributing them like this...

Special Wall & Team Supporter
Piplup - Empoleon**Royal (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
Nature: Calm (+SDef, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
- Stealth Rock

Choice Bander
Starly - Staraptor**Star (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
- Brave Bird
- Return
- Close Combat
- U-Turn

Special Sweeper & Cleric
Budew - Roserade**Rosearedo (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Poison Point
Nature: Modest (+SAtk, -Atk)
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
- Sludge Bomb
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Aromatherapy

Phyiscal Sweeper
Cranidos - Rampardos**Smash (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Mold Breaker
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Head Smash
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit

Double Status
Gastly - Gengar**Phantom (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
EVs: 128 SAtk / 128 SDef / 252 Spd
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Will-o-Wisp
- Hypnosis

Phyiscal Wall
Steelix**Armoria (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rock Head
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang
- Gyro Ball
- Rest

I would like feedback on these EV decisions, like perfect, good, bad, or horrible?

i really liked the team.
I didnt like Steelix though, earthquake and fighting moves are really common on wifi and i dont think the steelix can withstand more than 2 EQ's

I didn't ask for a RMT, but thx. Also, my Steelix can take more than 2 EQs from some pokemon.

You might need help on more than just the EVs...
and btw I'ma be tweaking with the natures too

Thunderbolt is still smacking the **** out of it.

Personally, I'd run Jolly Nature.

Budew - Roserade**Rosearedo (M) @ Choice Scarf

Special Sweepers that have under 300 Speed need Timid Nature regardless. Change the item to Choice Specs. Choice Scarf only helps if you're attacking with moves of 100 Base Power or more.

Phyiscal Sweeper
Cranidos - Rampardos**Smash (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Mold Breaker
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Head Smash
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
Why you have Head Smash AND Stone Edge on the same set, I have no idea.

Double Status
Gastly - Gengar**Phantom (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
EVs: 248 HP / 100 Def / 140 Spd / 20 SAtk
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Will-o-Wisp
- Hypnosis

Phyiscal Wall
Steelix**Armoria (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rock Head
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
- Earthquake
- Thunder Fang
- Gyro Ball

There's a LOT more to competitive battling than determining EVs. To be blunt, some of those movesets look like random attacks thrown together (Ex. Rampardos with Head Smash & Stone Edge, which are 2 Rock Attacks with the same Accuracy.

Thanks for the EV help. And none of those movesets were not chosen randomly. I have already received help with movesets, items, and natures....here's the thread.

I know there is a lot more to competitive battling than EVs. I know EVs don't mean nothing if the moveset, natures, and/or items suck.

well hate to point it out to ya, but the overall 252/252/4 ev spread thing you got going on here is silly.

first of all, there's no point in having a Water type special wall when it can't learn mirror coat. its lack of speed must be made up for by being able to retaliate with mirror coat, but since it does *NOT* have it, i'd suggest you make it more diverse. take some evs out of sp def and put some into defense and the rest to Sp Atk. as a special wall, empoleon is only set out to take out other Bulky Waters. problem is if your opponent will actually leave a Milotic or Blastoise out against an Empoleon that obviously has Grass Knot. the only reason the two would is if one had Mirror Coat and the other had Earthquake, which takes me back to my suggestion of giving it more defense evs. Grass Knot against Milotic is deadly, while leaving it in to get Earthquake'D is silly. Grass Knot against Bulky Waters like Vaporeon who weigh less is just as deadly. grass knot has potential... but not on Empoleon. Drill Peck, however, could cause some damage and is more safe on Empoleon. you could also go with Earthquake.
