Spikes or Toxic Spikes

I figure with the Spikes, you get everything minus those with Levitate or part flying, but with toxic spikes only the steel types aren't effected

So is it better to have spikes, or toxic spikes (if toxic spikes is completely different to spikes than my theory doesn't work)

yes your theory doesn't work. here is my information on both that i've discovered:

1. toxic spikes inflict poison status on whoever switches in except for poison types and steel types. when poison types switch into toxic spikes, they disappear.

2. spikes can multiply this generation. the more spikes that are put up, the more damage will be inflicted when switched in. so basically, FEAR skarmory.

Nope, in G/S/C you could only put down one layer of Spikes.
