It should be able to pass through Synchronize, but I don't understand why you'd want to do that anyway since that's putting yourself is a crappy situation.

And yes, Toxic Orb can be used in conjunction with Guts and Facade. Flame Orb won't help much since it still lowers attack.

actually, flame orb still works with guts w/o lowering attack at all. when pokemon have an ability that benefits them, the original effect of the subject usually doesn't affect them. for instance, Cacturne is a Grass/Dark type and should be buffeted by Sandstorm, but because of Sand Viel, it isn't. the same works for Guts. the only thing that doesn't operate this way is Quick Feet and paralyzation. a paralyzed pokemon's speed is still cut by 25% even when they have Quick Feet as their ability.

Except Gardevoir and Espeon don't have the health or the defenses to use Rest and actually live out 2 additional turns, and even if they ran rest, they'd get burned / poisoned again immediately after waking up.
