EV Weirdness

I still have two questions..

One, my Weavile now has the stats:

HP: 148
Attack: 142
Defends: 120
Sp. Atk: 92
Sp. Def: 106
Speed: 177

List time, i killed about 20 psyducks (which give +1 Sp. Atk) and my Sp. Atk only got +1...

Two, What are DV, and how can i see them on my pokémon?

Evs are weird like that. They don't always go through from one level-up (unless you used a Rare Candy, in which case they didn't go through at all).

IVs (the new name for DVs) are the numbers assigned to your Pokemon's stats that determine how fast they will increase. You can't "see" them. You have to use an IV calculator (an online program) to try to figure them out.

what do you mean with 'how fast the will increase' isn't it just that if you kill 4 psyducks that you go one up in Sp. Atk?

That's EV. IV is different. IVs determine how much a stat will go up when you level up BEFORE counting in EVs.

Lol, thank you, you made much things clear for me XD
Thank you for helping me out!

I still think the Weavile thing is weird...

Although off topic, Weavile should definitly NOT be used to use Sp. Attacks
