I got one that many n00bs will love.

New held item - Adrenalizer

A sharp, medicine-filled needle that when taken, allows the user to attack after an executed Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, or Hydro Cannon. The downsides are: it can be only used once, and if the attack misses, you have to rest on the nest turn, just like the good old R/B/Y days.

Brilliant.

i'd like for them to bring back recharge after miss too... those WERE the good ol' days

Revisiting my idea on Pokemon getting actual sicknesses, another item.

Steroids
Increases all stats to max but confuses and badly poisons. After the battle, the Pokemon has a series of bad things happen to it. Pokemon Hospitals neutralize all effects. Scenario:

n00b: Oh noes! ima bought ta lose! ima hax and use a mah steroids!
*Arceus's everything rose to max! Arceus became confused! Arceus was badly poisoned!*
n00b: no biggeh, ima use a mah Full Restore! Now use a haxorz judgement pwnage attk!
Real Trainer: Hey, look! Your Pokemon is getting beefed up! Erase your data and pick Turtwig! You'll unlock a secret Pokemon!
n00b: For reals?!?!? Who new 'roids were so kewl! ima do that!
Trainer: Idiot.

Eos Aduro November 16th, 2007 8:50 PM

Beautiful EmpoleMew, that is totally getting suggested for my school play this year.

NEW ITEMs

Life Pendant
Heals 50% of HP if you HP goes into the red zone, but is only usuable once.

Doom Key
Lets the holder break through detect or protect while attacking.

Rubber Treat
Any Normal Pokemon can't switch out if the holder has this item.

Iron Boots
Gives any Pokemon with feet a 10% Defense boost, but cuts flying types speed and attack and all other Pokemon lowers attack.

Ariel November 16th, 2007 10:13 PM

Urihuru Berry - same affect as a Full Restore but only restores %40 total HP. (cheap idea =\ )

Demise Stone - enhances attack by %50 but places the Pokemon using it under Permanent Toxic and paralyze status effects.

Tetra Crown - enhances Fire, Water, Lightning & Psychic attacks by %20 but the Pokemon loses 2 attack or special attack point whenever they attack, depending on the move, either a physical or special attack. (point reduction is not permanent and lasts only for the battle.)

Gaia Coronet - enhances Grass, Poison, Ground & Rock attacks by %20 but the Pokemon loses 2 attack or special attack point whenever they attack, depending on the move, either a physical or special attack. (point reduction is not permanent and lasts only for the battle.)

Star Veil - enhances Ice, Dragon, Ghost & Steel attacks by %20 but the Pokemon loses 2 attack or special attack point whenever they attack, depending on the move, either a physical or special attack. (point reduction is not permanent and lasts only for the battle.)

Synth Head-piece - enhances Bug, Fighting, Flying & Dark attacks by %20 but the Pokemon loses 2 attack or special attack point whenever they attack, depending on the move, either a physical or special attack. (point reduction is not permanent and lasts only for the battle.)

Their all items.

As for attacks...

Thunderclap
Type: Electric
Power: 140
Accuracy: 90
PP: 5
Target: One foe or friend
Special attack, no direct hit.
Attacks with full power, but badly lowers special attack afterwards.

Ice Scatter
Type: Ice
Power: 110
Accuracy: 100
PP: 5
Target: Both foes
Special attack, no direct hits.
Attacks with full power of ice petals, damaging all foes with %40 of freeze.

EDIT - I updated it for more type enhancing attack items. =]

already exists. Charcoal

anyway, how about a hold item that cancels out all levitation and flying resist to ground? like a gravity hold item (Iron Ball that works for everyone) or move that brings everything down to the ground.

Quidoo November 17th, 2007 6:53 AM

There is a move that brings you down to ground, I think...It's called gravity (i'm not actually sure...:\)

EmpoleMew November 17th, 2007 9:42 AM

I don't know why, but this came to me in a dream last night.

Lunex
Electric/Steel
For some reason, it looks like a glass Cloyster shell with a glass ball coming out of it. Lightbulb Pokemon maybe? I was chaining for it. I had unlocked some side quest that sends you back in time to the Old Chateau mystery. I read the whole thread so it doesn't surprise me. Then the true story folds out. The PokeRadar goes crazy after running into Lunex with it. You see a shiny patch so you naturally run into it. Before stepping into it, I put Smeargle at the front of my party. The PokeRadar starts going off every time you walk in the shiny patch. Eventually, you see the overworld for Uxie. You chase it around the grass patch until you can finally press A. (Faraway Island referance?) Then another new Pokemon appears. It's a shiny Luminex.

Luminex
Electric/Ghost
Evolves from Lunex with Dusk Stone OR from Rotom at Lv. 25 while holding either Brightpowder, Reaper Cloth, or Magnet. The shiny animation is different. I just chuck a Master Ball at it and suddenly, I'm in the Chateau. The murder myster is revealed! (If there really was one.)

That was one crazy dream. The crazier part is that I remember it. Now imagine that for a 5th generation game. Also, Luminex had some new attacks.

Hotwire
Electric
Special Attack
Power 60
Accuracy --
The foe is wrapped in wires and cannot attck for 2 turns. During this time, Luminex can use the attacks of the trapped Pokemon as its own at 100% accuracy. All damage is halved and is not affected by stat changes. Upon release, the opposing Pokemon is confused and paralyzed. Luminex then returns to its owner.
In short: TOTAL HAYWIRE

Ominous Bolt
???
Special Attack
Power 120
Accuracy 90
Luminex charges for 2 turns. During this period, all damage done to it is halved and super-effective attacks have no effect. After charging, a ghostly electric sock is released which is randomly selected as either Ghost or Electric type.
In short: Rotom on steroids.

How about a Gravity Ball?

Eos Aduro November 19th, 2007 5:40 PM

Hmm, or like a Iron Collar.

♥~*Abby*~♥ November 19th, 2007 5:42 PM

Just realized posts here count.

New Pokemon- Rock evolution of Eevee- Stoneon.

Level Eevee up while holding hard stone.

No more details, brain not functioning... O_o

EmpoleMew November 19th, 2007 5:45 PM

I was thinking more along the lines of Boulder Suit. But since that sounds stupid, I'll say Gravity Machine. You know, like the artificial gravity in space shuttles. (Does that actually exist?) I may have mentioned it before about raising your Pokemon like they do on the show so maybe if you don't feed them a Poffin (Or whatever else they come up with) for a while, they become hungry and in battle, act like Slaking.

♥~*Abby*~♥ November 19th, 2007 5:45 PM

That sounds like a good idea... I mean, Pokemon need to eat...

Eos Aduro November 19th, 2007 5:48 PM

Or else they're pretty much dead. I've always wondered what Pokemon eat.

EmpoleMew November 19th, 2007 5:48 PM

It wouldn't hurt for a little more logical situations. Have you ever seen anyone on the show say they had to go to the bathroom? And even worse, bathrooms don't even exist in the games! Makes you wonder though, how do Pokemon use the bathroom? On second thought, let's not wonder about that....

Odd... I always wondered that too... they probably don't use the bathroom for obvious reasons...

Also, they really don't seem to do much in the way of sleeping...

Eos Aduro November 19th, 2007 5:54 PM

Hmm, well thats probably what they do in there Pokeballs. Oh new Pokeball

Bell Ball
Heals and gives the Pokemon MAX happiness

♥~*Abby*~♥ November 19th, 2007 5:56 PM

That'd be nice, but it's too unrealistic unless it's...

A. super-duper expensive
B. only obtainable once
C. a really crappy Pokeball in the way of actually catching Pokemon

EmpoleMew November 19th, 2007 5:57 PM

That seems kind of cheap. I mean that means you can Espeon, Umbreon and the like with no effort. Speaking of effort.

Effort Ball
A Pokemon caught in this ball gains twice EVs in Attk/Sp. Attk but everything else is cut in half. That's gonna make n00bs look more n00bish.

♥~*Abby*~♥ November 19th, 2007 6:00 PM

Or maybe Iron Ball, it has a high capture rate but lowers happiness, and the cushion ball, which would be the oppisite.

Eos Aduro November 19th, 2007 6:03 PM

Herald Ball
Whenever this Pokemon gets sent out, its speed increase one stage, but both its defenses are lowered.

EmpoleMew November 19th, 2007 6:03 PM

I'm so evil. A new ability.

Cross-Eyed
If an attack misses, the Pokemon can't attack next turn.

And is it just me, or are we the only three people still posting here?
