~*!*~how Often Should I~*!*~

how often should I water my berries in D/P. Because I'm so sick of waiting days for Durin berries and, when they finally grow, all I get is 2-4 berries. Rarely 9 of them. I need to know this because I'm trying to get items from Florma town to use in the Super Contest

Generally you're supposed to water berries during every stage... so I would look up the berry info and how long each stage lasts (can be an hour, can be up to a day or longer, like with the Liechi berry), and then keep track of time. Most I've gotten were 5 Aspear berries.

But if you want to keep it simple, just keep checking up and water it whenever the ground looks dry.

PS: also, go by the exponential effect if you don't have the time to water it always... ie, plant one, wait, pick 2, plant two, wait, pick 4, plant four, wait, pick 8, and so on. I do this with berries I have little of, and it works perfectly fine. Slow at first, but once you have 10-20 of the same berry planted, you get an average of 10-20 berries a day, even if you don't water them.

Like said above, water them at every stage. If they're watered at every stage, it's easier for the plant to produce more berries than it usually would.

The most I've had from a berry plant would be I think it was 16 berries on one plant.
