What else does the Sinnoh region connects to the Johto

The only thing I seen in Diamond and Pearl that connects a little to the Johto is Jasmine is there's more that does connects to the johto region that I might of miss while I was playing?

there is a some one in the vilro lake front who tell you about that tin tower and ho oh

Ichida June 14th, 2007 12:02 AM

That's about it, though. You don't actually go to Johto, which sucks. I think these references are just them teasing us about not making another Johto-region game.

probably the 3rd game of D/P will allow you to go to Johto. But not make a GSC remake (I'm sick of hearing that)

I sure hope so, speaking of the third game, i hear it's possibly going to be called Pokemon Opal (Nintendo have also registered a site under the same name recently) But yeah, there;s also that reference at the very beginning about the Red Gyarados.

The hiker that gives you an egg that hatches to Happiny tells how to hatch it and states "Profesor Elm of Johto figured it out."

There are several references to Johto. One person actually asks if you've ever been to Johto. I think they're either in or near Sunyshore

It can't NOT be called Pokemon Opal.

Giratina will be the star, as he's the third in the Dragon Trio.

Girasol is a type of Opal (Giratina - Girasol).

It's set in stone.

I know about Jasmine, the Red Gyarados, Elm discovering the eggs, the one about Ho-oh, and the Secret Potion Cynthia gives you. There's nothing else I think.

Isn't it like.....the same thing?
I think corocoro said that or something.
Anyways it might not even be giratina, because he's not in the sinnoh dex but also you can get pokemon even without the national dex.

It makes sense that they would add Johto as an accessible region in Opal. It sure would make it easier to catch some 2nd and 1st generation Pokemon.
Also, I've heard that Johto routes are listed as catchable in D&P's code. Which means if you traded a Pokemon that was caught in a route in Johto, it would show up on the information when you look the Pokemon up.

Maybe Celebi will finally be catchable, since we now have access to the GTC which was where the GS ball was obtainable in the Japanese version of Crystal.
