Well, I was born in America so that must make me American! But, I'm all Italian with an extremely small percentage of European Spanish in my blood. The only languages I can get away with speaking fluently are English and Italian. Languages like Japanese, Spanish, and French...I can only say a few everyday phrases and words in...throw in a little accent, and I can sound like I come from the country even when I don't know what I'm saying, lol. ^_^

I don't know if I want to learn Portuguese. O_o *sees Jordan fly out and attack her* I'm sorry! I can't stand this girl from my school that speaks Portuguese...it was her first language and she comes from Brazil. She's a rude and possessive little thing, too. She made me lose my interest...heh. But I do want to learn a bunch of languages so I can feel all important and speak with people from various countries. I'd actually like to be a translator or go into communications if I don't do my first choice, which would be acting, modeling, or voice-acting. If that fails, I'll become a pharmacist. You know how much money you get just for counting pills?! If that blows over, too, I'll become a translator, lol. In between all this I'll work at Tokyo Kid, Dizzy! And you can come and visit me! It's in Harvard Square off JFK street in the Garage Mall if you haven't been there already, Dizz. The only thing I despise about that mall, though, is the smell of cheap pizza at the cafe in [email protected][email protected]

She gives Portuguese a bad name, to **** she will go, stupid wretch. That's okay though Chrystie, it's for you benefit, not mines, I'm not going to force you ^^. I'm going to be a Pharmacist for the evil Euro Organization my father works for ^^, I'm proud to be a Plot-Against-Evil-Terrorist-Organizations-In-Europe-American :) Pharmacist was my first choice, my cousin makes Muito Dinhero doing that :), I envy her. W00t Shall I, a Capulet, Visit thee, a Montague, Ay I shall. Soundeth sweet like a plan. :)

I'm American, because I was born in Washington D.C. That makes me American, right? Well, my nationality is African, I'm guessing West African, but it's hard to find out, really. My Cultural Heritage teacher told me most black people are from West Africa. I could be Jamaican XD I know that on both sides of my family there is a bit of Native American. I know that on my Dad's side we are Cherokee, but on my Mom's side I'm not sure. I think my uncle said Tacasaw or something with a saw.

English is my first language and it's confusing Ughh. I'm in my third semester of Spanish, and it's sometimes difficult [dificil en espanol, LOL]. I'm okay at it, and I know most of the words, and sometimes I can put phrases together. I'm not on the level where I only know "Hola" and "Qué Pasa", but I'm not on the level where I can have a full conversation about anything you throw at me.

Chairman Kaga May 13th, 2004 1:14 PM

I'm a whole mix of cultures...Frankish, French, British, Irish, Cherokee...those are the only ones I can think of for now though. I speak english and some spanish, and I also hope to learn japanese, hebrew, and possibly aramaic/arabic/urdu someday...but for now I need to master spanish, which will likely never happen because my teacher won't teach us anything -_______-

I am however:

Pokemaster10000 May 13th, 2004 5:14 PM

Cool! A lot of different nationality.
I'm Vietnamese/Chinese and I speak:
English
Chinese (cantonese)
Chinese (mandarin)
Vietnamese
Italian (learning)
Spanish (learning)
.....I could go on..I think. But I'm stopping here. :P

Argh, it's hard to learn 2 similar languages at once.
I get the words mixed up with Italian and Spanish. XD

Latios Master May 13th, 2004 5:29 PM

I had Spanish class last year, and it was really hard. I can hardly remember anything that I learned. It doesn't help when you have one of the most hated teachers in the school as the teacher. x.x I take Spanish 2 next year. I better start reading my notes from last year over the summer...

I would really like to learn Japanese, because of Pokemon. My cousin knows some Japanese. She loves the language. She taught me a Japanese word too. "Roho", which means "red". It's the same thing for Spanish too.

Are you sure, I thought it was Aka... Roho would be a little to European even though its only in Spanish.

In French is Rouge, and in Portuguese its Vermelho! The bestest color in the world is Vermelho, e Verde, e Azul, e Amarilho, e Branco, e Preto, e....Muito Cors!
