Films that made you Cry ?
*Flys in* Heya Tatt here ! :D
Well , i was wondering if you Guys have watched any Films that made you Cry and what Films they are ? Spill the beans , i bet alot of you here have. So no shyness ^____~ Films that made me Cry: My Dog Skip - Omg.....its just such a heart warming and emotional film ;.; I think this is the Film i most cried at. I cried towards the End and at the very end , because thats when it gets very emotional. If you have ever watched it you'll know what i mean.One of the most Loyal , sweet and beautifull films i have watched. I own Dogs of my own so thats one reason it touched me so much. Last time i watched it was the fourth time and i still cried hard. Sea Biscuit - Yup one of my favourite Films of all time. Tatt is a huge Horse lover afterall ! Well again i cried at the end of this. I loved Sea Biscuit so much and it was very sad. Lord Of The Rings (Return Of The King) - Well , i am a big LOTR Fan and this was the emotional one. It was sad that is was the last Film aswell i suppose =P I cried when Frodo had to leave saying goodbye to Sam , Pippin and Mary and at the very end. Spirited Away - My favourite film of all time ^___^ Bittersweet ending. There are probaly some others aswell but i can not remember XD So anyone ? |
Is that dragon in your avatar that guy from Spirited Away?
I cried for this movie, and also for some other movies like A.I., The Entei Movie (I pity Molly), and also (in laughter and sadness) for local movies like "I Not Stupid" (Education system satire) and "Home Run" (Some Adaptation of "Children of Heaven"). |
*Exhales* Okay..
Titanic Abosolutely loved the romance and was so sad when Jack died! ;-; Lion King Poor lonely Simba ;-; Pet Sematary When the kid got run over by the truck, it was so sad. Who'd want their kid to get run over like that? ;-; *dies* |
To be honest.. I never cry at movies.. I feel it inside though when it is sad, but I never cry..
|
Um... I don't remember the last time I cried during a movie. Sure, a lot of them make me feel sad... but not bad enough to make me cry. (Although, pathetically enough, anime seems to really touch me XD)
We're watching Titanic dubbed in French in, well, French class. o_O; I'm not crying, but just seeing all the poor people who can't get off the boat kinda bugs me because I know that really happened and drowning is really the only way I don't want to die. x_X But.. yeah. I'm pathetic, because when the rest of my class will be crying, I'll... probably be laughing. <<; (...what? ._.) Erm.. I can't think of anything off the top of my head right now, though. o.o; |
Hmm, actually FFX and KH are pretty much the only things that made me cry. ^_^; Maybe a little in RotK, but not as much as X did. ._.;
|
I'm so embarassed to reply to this since I'm a guy...but some things are so beautiful or so sad even a guy can get teary ._.
I've cried watching two movies: Star Trek: Generations: I was only 7 when it came out, but I remember being so sad when I saw the mighty Enterprise D be destroyed and crash into the planet after those scum Lursa and B'etor shot it down...I'm actually sort of a trek freak... Lord of the Rings: Return of the King: I cried when Sam helped Frodo up Mt. Doom...that level of devotion really got to me for some reason...and there were lots of amazing scenes...Pelennor Fields got to me too. ...and I think I may have cried at the opening scene of Star Wars Episode I (the backstory sequence with the scrolling words), mainly because it had been my dream to see the words and the theme on the big screen... |
jasper texas made me cry .
|
I only cried at Passion of the Christ, because I was straight-up honest to god, scared for my life -_-... It had an Affect on me, but Know I'm just testing my religiousness ._.;;

Lightning - You have to admit, the smokestack falling on the people was funny. |
Oh, yeah. Monster's Inc. was sad. At the end when the little girl looked in the closet, but Sully wasn't there. That was sooo sad!

I cry at all those animated movies yet when we went on a field trip to see the movie Pearl Harbor I didn't cry. I feel really bad about what I did do though... even though it wasn't my fault entirely. The true story is really sad. I know that... but when we watched the movie my friend started laughing... and her laugh is incredibly contagious so I ended up laughing too... I do regret that though since it's not really supposed to be a funny situation... if I was alone when I saw the movie I probably would have cried though but since I was with my class I held it back... and my friend had to go and laugh instead... but it really was sad. |
okok no movie has made me cry nor has any shows ofcourse theres been that sad fealing like a few other ppl hav said but that hasnt been at much movies
some ppl say i dont cry coz i dont watch the movie properly but i dont think there is a proper way to watch a movie i mean its a bit hard to watch it any diff then u userly do. i mean how am i ment to watch it upside down??? :? |
Alright...Movies that made me cry...
I'm going to go with Kaga on this one and say Star Trek Generations as well. As there were a few events in there that made me kinda choke up inside. Along with Star Wars EP:4 Special Edition. I begged my mother to take me to that first day, center seat, and I did. After a twenty minute delay, I remember the "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." come on. And my heart just swelled as I got ready for those huge words to appear on the screen. As soon as they did and the music started, I couldn't help myself from getting up and yelling in joy with the rest of the audience There were tears in my eyes throughout the whole prologue. I couldn't belive that 20 years after the first one was released in theaters for the first time, I was sitting here getting to watch it on the big screen for the first time for me as well. Toy Story 2: I don't know why, but the first time I watched that, Jessie's song really hit me right there. I mean, it was beautiful. And it seemed so genuine, that I think if you didn't feel something touching during that scene, you are either ridiculously cold, or oddly disturbed. |
Hmm...Pokemon Heroes made me cry a lot...um....Spirited Away...Balto kinda did...Brother Bear...And yes, I watch a lot of animated movies...

Me? Movie? Cry?
I've watched a few movies that were supposed to be sad, but they really didn't have much affect on me......accept for one. Funny, when I went to go see the Return of the King, I wasn't planning on shedding any tears. I just thought it was going to have the most action of them all (which it did!). I remember, the tears started flowing at the Black Gate, when Aragorn quietly said... "For Frodo..." That's when the waterworks began hehe... All of the parts at the Black Gate and around Mt. Doom were really touching. To think that there was no hope for any of them, and that it was to give Frodo a final chance to destroy the ring.....wow... Then, I also cried at the scene of the Grey Havens, when Frodo sailed away, along with the others. Later on, my sister turned to me and said, "Jordan, are you crying?" in awe. I replied, "No, of course not!" and quickly rubbed my tears away. Not that it helped, because my eyes were a little puffy hehe... The fifth pokemon movie made me cry just a tad, but nothing on the scale of RotK. I even watched RotK three times, and I cried at the end of every single one hehe... |
Well, Mr. Nightwolf, consider me oddly disturbed. Although I did feel something during that piece of Toy Story 2. Contempt. Not really, it was pity. An empathy, I've been shunned for a LOT of my life.
Really, the only film that has ever made my cry is Grave of the Fireflies. I mean, normally (at least before watching this) I don't let anything get close to me, but this film shattered my barriers and just left me open to emotion after emotion. I just completly broke down. Such a desperatly sad film. After finishing it I just sat there for about half an hour, went upstairs, got a kitchen knife and just sat there contemplating if I should just get it over with. Then I though that that would in no way honor the characters in the movie. In the end I'm glad I watched it, I think it really helped me get out of my suicidal boredom. |
harry potter #1. this sounds weird... but at the end when dumbledore says, "it takes a great deal of courage to stand up to ones enemies, but it takes a great deal more to stand up to ones friends. which is why i award neville longbottom, 10 points"
*bawl* edit: pokemon movie because it was so far off the game, and almost at the end of shindler's list. |
