Mew from GTS
I don't know if I posted this thread in the right place, but here it is.
I recently got a Mew from GTS and wondering if it's hacked. It's in a masterball lvl 30 with OT=Piecuch and ID=34352. It is from Hoenn |
If it has a Japanese name, it isn't hacked. If it has an English name, it is.
|
you mean the name/nickname itself? It's "Mew" so it must be hacked?
|
Exactly. If it has an English name, it's OT should me MYSTERY.
|
yup, thats the other mew I have, just checking if other english names are legit. Thanks for answering
I'll just put it back up on GTS |
This is actually a great page to check on all the event pokemon:

Actually, the OT doesn't have to be MYSTERY.
If the original place of capture is Birth Island (I think it is), then whoever caught it will be the OT. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. |
Yea that's true, but because the event item needed to go to the island was never given outside of Japan as far as I know, the only legit ones with trainer IDs other than MYSTRY are Japanese. Otherwise, the person would have had to hack for the item, which is still illegitimate technically.
Edit: gah, my grammar was horrible there. This head cold is seriously screwing me up. x.x |
