What's the easiest way?
I want to get a Shiny. What's the easiest way to get a Shiny (non-legendary) in Emerald and Leaf Green?
There IS no easy way. Breeding would be the most logical. But it's a 1/8192 chance...
Well, I suppose that, in a sense, Pokémon such as the starter Pokémon (Mudkip, Bulbasaur, etc...) and ones that are stationary (Kecleon and Snorlax) are easier to obtain, because you only have to save in front of them and continuely soft-reset until they're shiny (opposed to just randomly walking around in the wild). Although, the theoretical probability is still 1/8192, and it would still be very time consuming... :\
How did people originally find out the chances of getting a Shiny?
true! I would like to know that as well.
They probably had a way to look at the game files themselves...
I think Nintendo released it to people who make cheat guides or something
there is a easy way, just cheat but thats not truthful and unfair. But just like what nguyende said there is a better chance of getting a pkmn that you can keep coming back to
