A Question About The PokeRadar
I read from that one girl in sandgem that shiny pokemon will be in shiny patches of grass. What is this all about?
|
You've probably seen patches shine yellow, and noticed that they aren't Shiny, contradicting what Dawn says. Though a shiny patch will actually have light blue sparkles, instead of the yellow, which sometimes indicates a rare pokemon.
|
so if it has the sparkles then it will automatically be a shiny pokemon?
|
Is it sprakles blue, then yes.
But if it just has yellow fleks around it, it's not. |
What are the chances of seeing a shiny patch of grass? Is it the same odds as seeing a shiny pokemon anywhere else?
|
yes, the first time you use the pokeradar in the area
but the more of the same pokemon you encounter in a row the more likely it is you'll encounter a shiny i've run into 9 smeargle and 10 nidoran in a row and the 9th/10th were shiny |
They're still rare, but I've read that if you chain 30-40 of the same kind of pokemon you'll have a higher chance of the grass sparkling shiny.
