Good Move Set and EVs for a Relaxed natured Gyrados?

What would be a good move set for a Relaxed Natured Gyrados? What would be some good EVs as well?

For starters, you need an Adamant Gyarados. Relaxed isn't helping you at all.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 244 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Aqua Tail / Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
That's your everyday D/P Sweeper Gyarados.

Iceman, I couldn't agree more. I just wanna know why Relaxed was even considerd. Cutting Gyarados speed is a foolhearty move, and I believe that it's defence, while not entirely bad, is his second worst stat, at base 79. I can't see why you would specialize in that.

While it does cut speed, it gets a defense boost as well. I know both Brave and Impish can work. Excellent Bulkydos, you should probably use this set:

Gyarados @ Leftovers
212 HP/96 Attk/88 Def/112 Spd
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Ice Fang/Waterfall
Earthquake

The EVs let it outspeed Agiligross and other things that usually run 202. The HP and Def are for maximum Lefties recovery and surviving Heracross hits. The rest is dumped into Attk. Good luck with it, although I would really just rebreed for Adamant since Magikarps are easy to hatch.

I'm not saying the defence boost is bad, but cutting speed for it is not a good idea. I tend to use Adamanant. Brave is nice, but cutting speed is not good. Why cut something that it does good, when you can cut out what it does poorly (i.e special attack)?
