Pearl Houndoom... rate if you dare...

Lolz sinister title. Anyway...

Houndoom Nasty Plotter

Ability: Early Bird

Item: Focus Sash

Moves: Nasty Plot
Flamethrower
Dark Pulse
Hidden Power(grass)/Sunny Day/Hyper Beam/Solarbeam

Nature: Modest (+Sp Att, -Att)

Basically, since the Focus Sash prevents you from being KO'd from full health, you can pump up your Special Attack with Nasty Plot until hit.

Flamethrower and Dark Pulse are strong, reliable moves that get STAB, and they can get at least neutral power on almost all Pokemon.

The last move is a filler. Hidden Power (grass) can cover two of the Pokemon that resist Dark and Fire moves (Tyranitar and Sharpedo). Sunny Day can be used to get rid of Sandstorm as well as raise the power of Flamethrower. Hyper Beam can be used for a cheap shot just before being KO'd. Solarbeam is simply situational, and probably the worst choice.

This thing is the enemy of those tanks with low attack power, and sweepers with low special defense. It can pump itself up more against the former, and easily beats the latter with the one Nasty Plot it gets.

Houndoom pwns. Except its pathetic movepool.

Throw in roar as an option for the last move and pursuit which hurts gengar / Azelf

Houndoom is awesome, he is apart of my evil team, as well as spiritomb and dusknoir! mwahaha.

Go + speed nature if you want.

Get one with flash fire, as early bird doesn't help, and flash fire strengthens fire moves, aswell as they don't hurt him, if you predict right, you can get a free switch in!

Ok, thanks. I was considering roar anyway, since I have a Skarmory with Spikes and Stealth Rock. I have a hard time predicting switch-ins, so that's why I didn't use Flash Fire. Thanks for commenting.

Tyranitar and Hippowdon kill this thing. They one-hit it, the Focus Sash saves it, and the Sandstorm kills the last HP.

Will-o-whisp is nice too. Especially agains Tyranitar and Sharpedo because of their huge Attack stat.
