Alakazam (Modest) @ Choice Specs

-- Focus Blast
good. trick when physical sweep comes in

Dusknoir (Impish) @ Leftovers
Pressure
-- Will-o-Wisp
-- Pain Split/Rest
-- Shadow Punch
-- Earthquake
Tank. You could also replace EQ with Taunt.

Lucario (Modest) @ Wise Glasses
Inner Focus
-- Dark Pulse / Shadow Ball
-- Flash Cannon
-- Aura Sphere
-- Dragon Pulse
Flash Cannon for STAB, Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse both work. you could also try calm mind instead.

Garchomp (Adamant) @ Leftovers
Sand Veil
-- Earthquake
-- Swords Dance
-- Rock Slide
-- Dragon Claw
fast and powerful, swords dance then sweep

Porygon-Z (Modest) @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf / Silk Scarf
Adaptability
-- Hyper Beam/Tri Attack
-- Nasty Plot
-- Thunderbolt
-- Ice Beam
one of my favorites, nasty plot then sweep

Weavile Adamant @ Razor Claw
Pressure
-- Swords Dance
-- Aerial Ace
-- Ice Punch
-- Night Slash
Aerial Ace for fighting types, ice punch and night slash for STAB

this is a good team. i think this would hold its own against many teams.

I assume you don't want a choice item for Porygon-Z, correct? Else, you wouldn't be plotting on it.

I don't have very much to beat Bronzong and Skarmory / or any other Steel type, really. What should I do?

bossman34 June 27th, 2007 1:27 PM

you can use fire punch instead of earthquake on dusknoir

bossman34 June 27th, 2007 1:28 PM

yes and silk scarf would best. silk scarf + adaptability + hyperbeam/tri attack + nasty plot + STAB = huge damage

Gymnotide June 27th, 2007 1:34 PM

Fire Punch is a physical move, which sadly, all Steel types have too many points in. It wouldn't make a difference :[ It's why I had Fire Blast on Garchomp.

Stone Edge > Rock Slide?

What I'm concerned for is lack of water and fire moves.

bossman34 June 27th, 2007 1:41 PM

um fire blast could work as a fail safe. and maybey water pulse on lucario

Gymnotide June 27th, 2007 3:14 PM

Anyone have any other ideas on Pokemon choice?

Gymnotide June 29th, 2007 7:19 AM

*poke* Please, more input.

instead of fire blast, give flame thrower to someone for better accuracy you dotn want to miss, costing a game for you.id suggest giving flamethrower to lucario/garchomp or maybe poygonZ

Hmm... Since Flamethrower is much weaker on Swordschomp than Lucario, and NastygonZ needs to do the Bolt-Beaming, I suppose the best choice is Lucario...

HOWEVER. It can't learn Flamethrower (Blaze Kick only).

Now, Garchomp has 130 ATK and 80 SATK and PorygonZ nearly has the complete opposite, 80 ATK and 135 SATK. While I have room for it on Swordschomp's set, it would be much more effective on Z's Nasty Plot.

What do you think?

Edit: Does anyone have any new arrangements? Or is this the best it can get?
