my first competitive team
I am working on starting my 1st competitive team, here are the pokemon I want to include in it:
Raichu Ninetales Torterra Vaporeon Dragonite I need a 6th pokemon, I was thinking Umbreon... but then I wondered whether I wanted 2 eevee evolutions in my team... any other suggestions on what the last pokemon in my team should be? I want it to either be a psychic, dark, or normal type. Also, my ninetales and raichu are already high-level, but the other pokemon I will be breeding, what nature is the best for a torterra, vaporeon and dragonite? EDIT: I decided on my 6 pokemon team: Ninetales Raichu Umbreon Politoed Dragonite Torterra |
This would go better in Strategies and Movesets.

I need to bump this thread, I'm going on vacation in a few days and am going to use that time to train my pokemon. Can someone help me out with my team. I decided on all six pokemon to use, here they are:
Ninetales (not EV trained): Lv. 76 Quiet Nature HP: 225 Attack: 160 Defense: 150 Sp. Atk: 162 Sp. Def: 191 Speed: 165 Attacks: Flamethrower Will-O-Wisp Hidden Power Fire Blast Raichu (not EV trained): Lv. 100 Naughty Nature HP: 268 Attack: 243 Defense: 133 Sp. Attack: 208 Sp. Def: 162 Speed: 245 Attacks: Thunder Hyper Beam Thunderbolt Iron Tail Dragonite (haven't bred yet, need help determing a good nature and attacks and what area(s) to EV train) Torterra (haven't bred yet, need help determing a good nature and attacks and what area(s) to EV train) Umbreon (haven't bred yet, need help determing a good nature and attacks and what area(s) to EV train) Politoed (I still need to get a poliwag, then I will breed it, I would still like help determining a good nature and moveset and area(s) to EV train it in) My ninetales and raichu need to be EV trained, someone said on diamond and pearl it isn't possible to do the berry method, where you reduce the EVs using berries and then retrain them, is that true?? If it is possible to EV train my ninetales and raichu, what would be the best area(s) to EV train them in? Thanks!! |
Raichu
-Thunderbolt -Thunder Wave -Substitute -Focus Punch Ninetales -Will-O-Wisp -Confuse Ray -Flamethrower -Rest/Substitute/Filler Torterra -Curse -Rock Slide -Earthquake -Razor Leaf Vaporeon -Acid Armor -Rest -Surf -Ice Beam Dragonite -Dragon Dance -Earthquake -Aerial Ace -Dragon Claw |
Some Nature Help:
For Torterra, Go for Impish Nature or Adament Nature Dragonite either Jolly or Adament Politoed, try Modest |
You need a real mean annoyer
|
Lord Mike, thanks for the move help, do some of those moves require breeding? or can you get all of them through TMs? Also, is there a TM for recover?
What would be a good nature for an umbreon? also, is it possible to use EV reducing berries and then EV train level 100 pokemon on diamond and pearl? thx!! |
I need to bump this thread one more time, and ask one question:
what stat or stats should I EV train each of my pokemon in: politoed umbreon ninetales raichu dragonite torterra thanks!! |
