What, exactly, do you need help/assistance with? I'm a bit confused, to be honest.

I need help with my poke like moveset and stratagy to beat Byron

Craig² July 5th, 2007 12:35 AM

Oh, okay. I should be able to help, since I had Torterra too. Here's the info:

Byron's steel-type. I suggest leveling up your Torterra to level forty if not a bit higher, as he has a lv. 39 pokemon. For him, I used ground-type moves. I pretty much got OHKO using Earthquake on Steelix and Bastiodon, but since Bronzor has levitate, it's different. I just used Razor Leaf on Bronzor and eventually, he fainted.

Keep in mind, though, my Torterra was lv. 45 when I first challenged the gym, so you might get different results. Still, go along the same lines as I did. Earthquake on Bastiodon and Steelix, Razor Leaf on Bronzor.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Try Nightshade w/ Murkrow on Bronzor. I'm not too sure, but that might work. Don't use your Bronzong against his Bronzor, though.

Okay thanks but did you only use one pokemon?

No prob.

Also: You can also use water/dark moves on his pokemon. That works well.

Doesn't fore work well too? I'm a Totrerra owner too.

Yeah. I consider that move to be of equal effectivness as Razor Leaf, with the added benefit of regaining health.
