Snorlax Question
For my Diamond Team I plan on using a Curselax. However, I'm having trouble deciding it's final move. The first two are obviously curse and rest.
For one of the remaining slots I was planning on giving it Return since Snorlax gets STAB for it and it's a powerful move. That leaves just one opening and I can't decide whether I should give it Crunch or Earthquake. What do you guys think? Do people use Ghost or Rock types to counter Snorlax more often? |
There aren't that many great ghost pokemon out there but I would watch out for Rock types by putting in Focus Punch and holding a Power Herb so it doesn't have to take that extra turn waiting.
|
Focus Punch is doomed to fail unless someone is setting up against Snorlax (using SD or something)
I would go Earthquake, as it dishes out more power. |
earthquake is great if your team has trouble against tyranitar, metagross, and the like. otherwise crunch is better because at least you hit everything. you can put a dent in tyranitar and metagross with return if you have 2 curses set up.
Overall i don't think curselax is as good as it used to be in 3rd gen. A lot of people know how to beat it with certain setups, not to mention moves like aura sphere, focus blast, close combat at your opponent's disposal. |
