maxing out happiness

how do people max out their poemon's happiness? i really want to evolve my eevees and my togepi

Ryu Hoshi July 6th, 2007 4:47 AM

I think you can make them happy by feeding them barries

Angelic Diablo July 6th, 2007 4:57 AM

Berries, Vitamins, Soothe Bell, massages... the works

wolfie1177 July 6th, 2007 5:20 AM

what berries make them happy? is it specific ones or just any?

Inugami July 6th, 2007 5:21 AM

Specific ones. Although, they decrease you're pokemon's EVs in the stat

EDIT: Sorry My bad Thanks Angelic Diablo.

Angelic Diablo July 6th, 2007 5:32 AM

No, they decrease the pokemon's EVs in the stat, there is a difference

pkmn master28 July 6th, 2007 5:52 AM

i got all eevee evolutions by giving it exp. share, a few berries and a massage daily at veilstone city

ultima2096 July 6th, 2007 6:00 AM

multi task! i breed pokemon and hatched them by cycling up and down the cycle road with the pokemon i wanted happiness on was hold a soothe bell. others i recommend are:
-Veilstone, once a day or (clock trick it) get a massage from the lady there, u also get fashion case items.
-take them for a walk in the park at hearthome city, togegi can go, and i think eevee as well. make sure you have the step counter on . every 200 steps turn round and talk to your pokemon to get items..
-Battling, prob the best multitask happiness giver. EXP, EV's, Moves. go to the veilstone dept. store and buy lemonade to heal your pokemon with after battle. it has high happiness value.

Single ways of promoting happiness (unessessary and time consuming)
-give vitamins. takes alot of them, so i recomend battle tower and use the BP gained rather than spend your money.
-Poffins, stupid stupid poffins. i hate poffins and all they stand for. evolving my feebas was a pain. to use poffins for happiness increase u'd have to be a mad man. but plenty still do it.

I recommend battling with lemonade, lol that sound kinda stupid. (always have the soothe bell on your pokemon you wish to bring the happiness up on. it doubles your effort) and also the egg hatching method. esp, if your a fussy breeder. SOOTHE BELL

wolfie1177 July 6th, 2007 7:06 AM

so are you saying put the soothe bell on the egg? o_0

i didnt think that was possible

Pkmn Trainer Alex July 6th, 2007 7:11 AM

I think he was implying that you should make another Pokémon (already hatched/caught) happy by giving it a Soothe Bell, and as a side task, carrying around an unhatched egg. By running around trying to hatch that, you also make the Soothe Bell Pokémon happier at the same time. That is what I'm doing with my Eevee and my Sneasel eggs.

Sakurah July 6th, 2007 7:13 AM

A good but slow way I max out my happiness is give said pokemon a Soothe Bell and ride up and down the bike road place. It'll take a while but it's a good place if you don't want your Pokemon to evole. Pokemon also loves to battle [This is if you're not evoling it]. Feed it poffins and stuffs like protiens. Enter them into contests help too.
But the easiest [yet longest] way is to just go up and down with the bell on them. But you can do it while multi-tasking, so it doesn't seem to be as bad.

wolfie1177 July 6th, 2007 7:15 AM

oh, ok. that makes a little more sense to me now

Pocket Monster Researcher Archer July 6th, 2007 10:14 AM

hey is it possible to max out the condition of a single pokemon like full max out it all smart, cute, tough, cool, beauty ?

Ichida July 6th, 2007 10:17 AM

Not legitimately, as far as I know. But then again, I never gave a flying crap about contests. :P

Pocket Monster Researcher Archer July 6th, 2007 10:20 AM

oh rite well i got a shiny rhyperior from gts and its entire condition is full maxed i mean everthing lol i think its hacked i seems like normal pokemon

Pocket Monster Researcher Archer July 6th, 2007 10:53 AM

apparanly having a hacked pokemon ruins ur rep lol i mean i suppose but its stupid reli i didnt know my pkmn were hacked until i took a good look at them whats the problem with them reli their just as good as any normal pokemon except a little different

wolfie1177 July 6th, 2007 11:00 AM

your rhyperior is mst likely hacked. read twilight's guide, it has lots of info on how to catch a hack

Pocket Monster Researcher Archer July 6th, 2007 11:06 AM

it runis my rep means ppl wont trade with me to have a hacked pkmn are they still alrite to use on my game thou i recived them from my friend soem guy is going around saying im a hacker and dnt listen to me im not intending on trading them

Ichida July 6th, 2007 11:14 AM

This is why I got every Pokemon by myself, so I know they aren't hacked. The only ones I traded for are Dialga from a close friend, and the Honey Tree Pokemon. And to make sure they weren't hacked, I bred my own versions, then deleted the ones I traded for.

...and stop saying "reli." I can only assume you're saying "really." >.<

Pocket Monster Researcher Archer July 6th, 2007 11:31 AM

if i release them their deleted from my game forever right i might just them all 3 of em in a sperate box yes reli means really sorry i use slang when im typing i cant be arsed using deatiled words lol
